Caramelo is that type of restaurants that offers food from all over the world without specializing in any or achieving success in any. In my personal opinion it is not worth it. If you are in the vicinity (that is, San Patricio) I will strongly suggest Avocado which is, literally, around the corner from Caramelo.

Good place. Good food. Fair prices. The only complaint is that the waiters appear to be in a hurry, even if it is bot during rush hours. They need to know that sometimes the dining experience takes a while.

Worst service in Guaynabo. Over priced cuban meals if you call them that. Its an overpriced Metropol. Quality of the meals are below expected for this area. And i just can't fathom the fact that the service is so bad. The waiter forces you to choose. If you find him you will have to repeat the orders. Meals do not... More

Food was amazing. We didnt wait much. It was in the afternoon, around 2:30pm. Staff was nice and vallet parking is a must for that area. I dont gived them 5 points because they didnt prepared well for that day and we couldnt enjoy dessert.

Unexpensive Latin food with first quality food and service. Valet parking, in a suburb of San Juan. Family tables and lots of food. Don't miss malanga frituras as appetizer and Ropa vueja.

Went with mu wife for dinner, the service form the waitress and every employee was great. The food was of good presentation and quality. My wife has the "mofongo" with "ropa vieja" and i had the "fillet mignoin" and both were great. For dessert we had thr crème brûlée and it was exceptional. Would recommended it 100%

Great service! I guess this was the best part. Everyone was very professional and nice. The food was good. Tonight they had a special "5 de mayo" menu. I enjoyed the "canoas de pollo con comino y cilantro." My only concern was the parking area which was a bit creepy, maybe because it's an old building and I went at... More

Just went for the first time and our waiter (Felix I think was his name) gave my husband and me such a great service. Love the food, I was totally impressed for our first time there. Will go back anytime.
