I was on vacations and went with my some family members to this restaurant and was a very nice experience. Food was great, and I definitely recommend this place. It is a little pricey for the area but quality is good and service was great. Management came to our table and ask us if everything was good and I also notice they did ask the same to several other customers. To my understanding they seem to care for their business and the customers experiences.
The appetizer Shumai Dump-pan fried my husband and my mom seem to think that was missing flavor, maybe was the way it was cook. I'm just adding it here as a note for future references.
This place is technically in one of the San Patricio Mall Parking Areas so there is a 3 hour free parking. There is a 15% tip added to your bill but you can ask to adjust as necessary as it said in their receipt. Our server was Elaine. We ate inside but they also have a small outdoor seating area.
I didn't give this place 5 stars because of the greeting of the place, the associates where seating and talking to each other and my mom thought they didn't want us to go in, but I explain to her that sometimes there is not much foot traffic so they might not be on their best behaviors and I know we weren't looking our best but sometimes that happens. Also the bathroom needed some TLC and of course I will suggest a different appetizer since the one we got I will not recommend.
This place also have a private area next to the bathrooms where I can say fit around 10 to 15 people comfortable for like a small event, The day I was there I can say was like 6 people and I did like the area.
There is a bar and you can also see the chef preparing your food at the end of the restaurant.

I love Ikebana! The quality and freshness of the fish and the ingredients are always impeccable. The atmosphere is also great. My favorite server, Sidney, always excels in his service. Not only does he recommends based on your personal tastes, but also has a remarkable way of making you feel welcomed. I recommend the "ostritas", the lychee or cucumber martini, the J.J salad, and the Dennis roll.

First time visiting this place and won’t regret it. Ask for Roberto if you want recommendations on IPA Beers and great appetizers. He has the knowledge on all the items on the menu and will recommend base on your taste for sushi or your taste on drinks. If you’re hanging out with someone or dining with your family Ikebana is a great place to go. Also, Eduardo takes care of his crew and is always looking for them to give the best service. I’ll travel again from Fajardo just to visit this place.

Had a reservation. After being seated, had to wait 35 minutes for a server to even come by the table. Sent a private FB message to the administration and was told I was a liar. Food arrived at table late and out of order, main meal served before all appetizers, some appetizers never arrived. NOBODY cleaned the table until it was full and no more plates could be placed. However, takeout orders seemed to be rolling out the door nonstop.

Excellent Service, food is great and the employees are the best. Sidney is the best. He is always treat us like a King and he is awesome. Is have been coming to this restaurant for more than 10 years and the consistency of the food and service is more than great. This is my favorite restaurant and the sushi is deliciousssssss. We spent a wonderful time. The sushi rolls were excellent and delicious. Its pricey. There were a little confusion when our waiter take a break and no one seems to be in charge of our table. Once I give the complaint it was solved

I travel a lot… am a fine diner and love sushi. This place is lack luster and would not recommend. Customer service is poor, not organized and would never consider coming back again. For this reason, they should barely get a star.

My girlfriend and I frequently visit this place, it is an excellent place to go eat and have a lovely evening. We always procure Lemuel because he is the best waiter. Super attentive, friendly, respectful and funny. Mi novia y yo frecuentamos el lugar, es un excelente lugar para comer y pasar una buena noche. Siempre que vamos procuramos a Lemuel porque es el mejor mesero. Súper atento siempre, amigable, respetuoso y cómico.
Go to Ikebana and ask for Lemuel!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE...
It took for ever to get a waiter to take our order and even to get additional drinks. And when we were ready to leave they took their time to bring the check because their system went down. It took and additional hour and no apologies for the manager. I also had to pay extra parking fee which they did not offer to pay for.
I won’t go there again.
By the way they have a Covid policy of no more than 4 family members per table BUT their staff was gathered all the time (more than 5) telling jokes.

I’m a regular to Ikebana, we really love their food. On 4/30/21 we visited the Guaynabo restaurant. It was 7 pm and we requested a patio table. We were told that there was none available at the moment but if we wanted they could sit us by 8:30 pm. I ask with relation with closing time and were told that the kitchen would be open until 9:00 pm.
At 8:40 we asked the host for our table. She told us that no tables were available but she would try to sit us within the next 10 min. At 9:05 we asked again and were told that she would talk to the manager with regards to our case. We pointed out that there 2 tables which had been finished for 45 min or more and they were siting there talking.
At 9:10 pm a waitress aproached the closest to us of the 2 tables and said that the manager was sending a complimentary bottle of Champaing for no reason. At 9:15 we decided to go home without eating out. All other restaurants were closed since by the Governors Mandate all businesses were supposed to be closed by 9:00 pm. I thought that they were staying a little late due to respect to us and serve us. I figure how wrong I was after the manager gifted a bottle to the table that was ready to leave.
The manager never talked to us and my understanding is that never intended to do it. The hostess was great and tried to handle the situation as much as she could, but the lack of management knowledge in basic costumer service did not help the situation.
I have never felt so mistreated in my life as Ikebana did to us. They lost a regular client, which has never asked for any special treatment, just to be treated with respect.
I really hope they treat you better than they did to us. If they do, you will enjoy the food.

First of all, we apologize if we were not able to serve you as you came as a walk into our facilities.
On the second hand, let me clarify for you all the details that you seem to miss entirely.
First, you arrived without a reservation and we informed you about the waiting time. Our Hostess, Graciela Bermudez, was more than serviceable to you and tried to find a table, but always being clear that there was a waiting list. If you decided to stay, then you should follow the terms as were explained to you entirely.
Not only that, there was a table available inside the restaurant, but you refused it. As you know, our COVID restrictions are very clear on the number of persons to be served inside and outside. And you decided to wait for a table outside.
Not only that, our Hostess took your main order so you could speed up the process, and after you were seated, you simply left the premises, leaving the FOOD UNPAID.
Our business is to provide the best food and hospitality service to all our customers. In this case, you arrived without a reservation, pretended for us to ask our seating customers to leave a table (something that we will never do), and menaced to make a negative review, although our service was way beyond excellent.
For your next visit, I recommend that you make a reservation and don't arrive as a walk-in on a Friday night, with the actual COVID restrictions imposed by the government.

I was around the san patricio area and I was craving sushi,I found Ikebana sushi as soon I walked by the door I was greeted at the door I sat in the bar area in less than a minute the this gentleman I guess is the manager greet me and ask me if was my first time he immediately started explaining the menu and definitely hes very knowledgeable and kind answering all my questions,Sidney reccomend the JJ salad OMG the best salad everrrr I gave it 5 stars. Also sidney recommended the Dennis roll was best roll I highly recommend Ikebana the service is amazing and the knowledge of the manager Sidney is on another level.
