Excellent fish restaurant near our lodgings. We had Robalo arroz also with clams and shrimp in addition to the sea bass. The excellent sauce also had cashews in it, and the short grain rice was delicious. The tuna pate in the couvert was also tasty...and the service very good. The portions were very large, the cost reasonable , and the service attentiveMore

Excellent fish rice! We visited with a group of nine people and ordered some seafood starters and two of the specialty rices for mains. The “lapas” or limpets were a complete surprise and super tasty, and at €1 each, you could happily eat a whole...tray with some cold beer. We had the seafood rice and the monkfish rice as mains which was plenty for six adults. Both rices were delicious, possibly the best I’ve had in Portugal for many years. Tasty and very generous on fish and seafood. Worth a trip for anyone in the Aljezur area.More

Excellent service, really good seafood including some local specialties. Our waiter was fluent in English and taught us how to eat their local barnacles. Fun night!

Good place to snack and have some nice shrimps and beer/wine, bread and spread, olives and octopus salad. But the main dishes were poorly cooked... Good service but not amazing.

Genuine Portuguese place on the side of the road. I wish I had been here with my partner as their menu favours 2 over one. But they served me a delicious monkfish rice. And there was enough for 2 people! Probably one of my best...meals in Portugal.More

Not cheap at all! However, considering the quality and amount of food that comes you can actually eat here for a fair price. Just beware that what they consider for two might actually be for 4 people or more depending how much you eat. One...of the best seafood places I’ve ever tried.More

Looked busy and good so in we went. The positives were great range of seafood and my monkfish kebab was very tasty. Negatives are that the "cover" tasters were so filling I was full by the time the huge main course arrived. Same for my...partner who had black pork....the quantity would have fed 2 people. So lovely food but just too much. I'm feeling over-stuffed.More

Excellent food but ! A couple of negatives which spoiled the experience. Waiter tried to sit us next to a party of 16 people when the rest of the restaurant was empty. A small glass of red house wine cost 4 Euro ! When you...order an expensive dish and don’t eat it all you are charged 2 Euro for take it away with you . 2 Euro for a black coffee. These little things spoiled what could have been a nice experience. Maybe a little more humanity is needed. Live in the area and will think again before returning. I had been twice previously and always had niggles.More

We have been there once, it was our first time in Aljezur. We were looking for a place to have dinner, and we found this nice restaurant. We have chosen 'Arroz de Marisco', and I would say that it was delicious. The staff was really...kind and attentive, it was a great experience in Mar. Give it a shot.More

This was the 3th restaurant we visit in Aljezur. This was not the best one, this was the most expensive one and far to Little quality compared to the price you pay; even when we compare it with the other 20 restaurants we've been on...our trip. Nothing wrong with the high priced clams. The mules were dry and sauce not tasteful. A glass of wine is 4 euro, the dont serve caraffs. The bottle the recommanded was bit "wrang". I know I sound negative, but it's our experience. My advice is go to Sabot'arte or Varzea! Realy a much better experience for less money!More

Here you will find an excellent sort of all catch of the day seafood prepared in the many different ways the Algarve and Portuguese cuisine can offer. Just missing some wider offer of fish if you are not a fan of other sea creatures. Overall,...a great place to taste amazing dishes and deserts.More

After a great morning exploring the west coast beaches we wanted a decent seafood Sunday lunch and this excellent restaurant definitely delivered. The restaurant wasn’t packed but there were plenty of other diners and the really friendly and helpful staff talked us through the menu...and blackboard choices. We ended up both having the monkfish kebabs which also had beautifully cooked king prawns. Was simply delicious and actually great value for really good quality seafood. Indeed looking around all other diners meals looked excellent. Will definitely call in there again when in the area.More
