We've enjoyed a week of breakfasts and dinners: soups that made a meal, scallops and mussels fresh from sea, exquisite sauces, homemade desserts. We had our own reserved table all week --wait staff & owner warm, gracious and solicitous throughout!

This was our third family trip to the Glenelg Inn Restaurant and again can't fault it. The menu is really fresh and always changing but retains an excellent Scottish theme made from local produce. See you next year.

I had a weeks holiday in a cottage in Glenelg and booked a table for my birthday at the Glenelg Inn. The Inn is very cosy, friendly staff and dog friendly. The food was very good and the service was efficient. I had the haddock in beer batter and chips followed by Sticky Toffee pudding and ice cream which was... More

Had a weeks holiday at The Holt in Glenelg,in the Scottish Highlands by the Kyle-of-Lochalch. The owners booked us a table at The Glenelg Inn as it would be evening by the time we arrived. we really enjoyed our meal and we booked again later in the week to celebrate my wifes birthday and our anniversary. It is a typical... More

Stopped in for lunch today after a beautiful scenic journey from the Glenelg ferry. Great friendly service and the food was delicious and so well presented. Lovely quaint and cosy inn and well worth a visit. Awesome views from the beer garden especially in the lovely October sunshine.

We stopped here for some lunch really just looking for a sandwich but ended up having haddock and chips. Well it was absolutely delicious. Really well cooked, succulent and tasty accompanied by some nice chips. We sat outside and admired the view whilst eating, bathed in the early October sunshine. We followed up with a walk through Glenelg. a very... More

Fabulous drive over the mountains to this small village with spectacular views. Limited menu for lunch mostly sandwiches or fish and chips. However I understand the evening meals are well worth the drive.

We arrived in Kintail on the way to Skye and saw the Inn listed in the Good Food Guide so decided to visit for lunch. Take the Skye Ferry road from Shiel Bridge to get there. A pleasant walk around the loch side brought us there at 12:30 to find the Restuarant filling up quickly with locals of all ages.... More

We were staying next door at Kirkfield House on holiday for two weeks and are here six times during our stay. Probably more than we intended but the house oven wasn't working. The food was very good with plenty of variety. The haddock and chips was especially good as was the venison. They even offered to cook our own steak... More

While the menu may be quite limited (it is on a blackboard at lunchtime) the food was extremely flavoursome and inventive - I have never had black pudding served with chicken before but it worked.
