Stefano the owner made us very welcome here. Food good. We had seafood pasta, pizzas etc and it was all very good. Not open for lunch but the best places seemed not to open then in Balestrate ? The pizzas were 5 or 6 euros and proper wood fired ones, very good value.

Found this place to be overpriced, dirty and the food was very average. The Tuna and squid was over cooked, the carbonarra was made with cream rather than egg yolks and my salmon pasta with nuts had shell in. Very disappointing.

We took the 25€ menu package with how many curses I cannot remember anymore! Very authentic local Sicilia food with such gentle family-like service. If I will come to Sicilia , I will certainly come here again

This is one of the few restaurants open in October in Balestrate. Food was typical of the area, pizza, pasta, etc. But it was good and reasonably priced.

My pizza was unfortunately a disappointment. It was ok, but not particularly good. My son, however, was very happy with his cabonara, and my daughter very happy with her bolognese. Service was friendly but not warm. Maybe it was just not my day :-)

We have been in Balestrate 4 days and already ate here twice. Food is exceptional and the prices are unbeatable. Staff is friendly and helpful to speak in English. Menus are also in English. Recommend to all!

I took takeaway pizzas to our house while staying in Balestrate, and we didn't think the pizzas rated as high as the ones we had at Cavallino Bianco. The restaurant felt more geared towards the tourist market as well, and although the people were friendly I didn't enjoy the atmosphere.

We went here our first night in Sicily because we heard that this restaurant had delicious pizza. But when we got there, we were blown away by the prices! The pizza was amazing, the prices were unbeatable, and the service was really good. The waiters and owners of the restaurant were very nice and entertaining. They also gave us free... More

Recommended by my hotel. We had steak, filet and sea bass over the two visits. All well cooked with super grilled veg. Friendly staff. Ate outside both nights. Wine good and very cheap.
