We visited early on a Saturday evening (having taken the precaution to book) having found this place on TripAdvisor after a visit to RAF Cosford. Welcoming and attentive staff greeted us and left us to peruse the menu over a drink before being taken through to Little Italy which is an attached dining room nicely decorated in an Italian style.... The Dartmouth is a great village pub , with many users there on the weekend evenings - the staff are always attentive , and seldom is there a wait for service . The range of draught beers is excellent , and the food always looks fresh and appealing ,

I've cycled past this pub many times and Sunday decided to visit . Staff were friendly and we stayed for lunch, food was plentiful and lovely. It's a lovely country pub next time we go we will try the Italian restaurant there .

Visited many times, lovely food and great choice on the menu. Lots of character in the bar and we prefer eating in the bar to the Little Italian restaurant (even though they are both very nice). Look forward to visiting again.

Staying with friends who wanted to visit they live 30 mins away staff are sadly unwelcoming ...and unhelpful.. restaurant was so dark . . Felt a huge inconvenience to them... food was good but need staff training on customer service .. such a shame as stunning pub .

Arriving at 3'oclock we were pleasantly surprised that lunch was still being served.Beef was our choice, served hot and with a plentiful amount of vegetables the meal was excellent, and the young waiter very pleasant and efficient .Although non alcoholic beverages was our choice there was a wide choice of beers and wine available. The Italian Menu looked quite inviting so we will... Tried this pub six months ago and got the feeling we weren't welcome..decided to try again and maybe sit outside..shouldn't of bothered! Miserable barman who never said thank you or even tried to raise the corners of his downcast mouth which may have resulted in something like a smile. Didn't feel welcome, I asked if the dog could come into... More

Probably my new local! Good atmosphere with traditional - but not dated - British pub environment. Really superb Italian food - good choice, top quality, well presented. Selection of real ales, nice wines (welcome back to the skittle of chianti !) good service and staff. Couldn't fault it really.
