Great service by all the pretty ladies never fail to impress! The menu choice is simple and easy to choose. I like the scones with an earl grey tea and of course so are the other items on menu. Dessert are just tempting and delicious too.Good food with a brilliant English atmosphere. We waited almost 70 minutes for a table... More

I had Welsh Rarebit fingers which were very tasty. Followed by a delicious warm scone with lashings of raspberry jam and cream. All very tasty. Only problem is they were closing at 4 pm, so couldn't space out my courses.

We were excited to finally try this place as we hadn't gotten there in our many visits to the area and it was always so popular. Gotta say, it was average at best. the servings were generous (and you pay for it) but the flavour was just lacking and the 'scones' were actually slices of scone like cake. A shame,... More

Every time I visit Melbourne my first stop is always miss Marple's tea room , so after visiting Melbourne with my mum and dad my first stop was there . We waited for our table of 3 for about 10 minuets and they put us on a table for 2 with a extra seat on the side , there was... More

This place is definitely a tourist spot. After chatting with a few locals I realised that locals don't go here, in fact two women who grew up in sassafras had never been. Hubby and I tend to avoid eats that are purely tourist attractions but I'd been told that the line up is worth it. And yep you sure do... More

I heard from many people that Miss Marple's is a place for dessert. Actually not only the dessert is excellent. The food is also delicious. The chicken finger, the cottage beef, the soup, and salad all are high quality. Of course the scone that kept me coming here again and again.

Went with my friend on another's recommendation. Agree with the others - the scones are way below par. I had the Welsh Rarebit and my friend had the chicken shepherd's pie. Both were as bland as baby food. I took one bite and asked the waitress if I could possibly change it for a ham sandwich. Was told 'no" as... More

Whether it's your first of tenth visit, Miss Maprle's Tea Rooms located in Sassafras never disappoint. A retun visit is every bit as enjoyable as the first. The food, which some may call old style, I call scrumptious and true comfort food. The quaint, cottagy feel of the venue along with the welcoming staff make this a place not to... More

A lot of character built into this tea room. Log fire appreciated on a very chilly 3 degrees day. The service was quick and the menu was what to expect from a tea room.
