Layout of this place looks very dated..... Looks like a locals pub! Food quite nice, better than expected! I would have a casual meal but not special occasion!

Ordered food for lunch. Two scampi and chips totally overcooked, Scampi was hard and the chips looked like they had been previously cooked, refrigerated, and fryed again. Could not eat either dish. Lovely friendly local pub with a great atmosphere and delicious homemade food. The burger I had was the best I'd ever tasted, and the chips were just like my Cornish Granny used to make. There was plenty of room to sit and eat in comfort, with a separate bar area for pub games.

Beautiful food, friendly staff and very good value for money. Great choice of food. Cream tea highly recommended as there is 2 scones and enough cream and jam. Yummy

We were recently in the area on holiday and having read the reviews we thought we'd visit for lunch one day while the weather nice and sit outside with our dog. We arrived shortly after 12pm and grabbed a table outside overlooking the harbour. We both had the sirloin steak, and I can honestly say it was one of the... More

On a lovely Sunday afternoon we fancied a drive out for lunch. After reading the reviews we went a long distance out of our way to visit this pub. What an absolute disappointment. HOWEVER, the staff were very friendly and courteous so this review is most definitely NOT aimed at them - two lovely northern girls. We opted for the... More
