Been here many times and always satisfied until today. Ordered Thai prawns which came on a plate with dressed rocket had to ask for some brown bread to go with it which at the price asked should have been served. I ordered the homemade soup which was served cold which is annoying they then zapped it in the micro and... More

We have begun to frequent this family run bar/restaurant on a regular basis. It is such a friendly, welcoming place with excellent food, excellent coffee and for cold winter days a truly welcoming wood burner! Being on the seafront, it gets a little frenetic during summer but the food remains excellent and the service too. I would recommend this place... More

Stumbled upon this place by accident. Only popped in for a quick drink. The place was busy and had a lovely buzz going on: a great mix of half term families with kids and dogs, cyclists and locals. Decided to try some food, so glad we did - very reasonably priced and delicious, in fact the chips were the best... More

Must admit I didn't expect too much but inside the Atlantic is a haven. Large, warm and inviting. Log fire burning and a variety of seating. Nice menu and cakes licensed too.

We are frequent visitors to this part of the UK and very much enjoy Cornwall and have seen a number of changes to this particular cafe over the years. The most recent owners are providing an excellent service the food is also very good. But I do have a criticism- cream teas, only one scone which looked shop bought and... More

Thank you for your review and glad you like The changes. The cream teas seam to be becoming an issue with some, I can assure you they aren't shop bought. Some people love them but a few don't so I think we need to look into an alternative. The tea bag on the side thing has only recently come about... More

Down from Dorset for few days we took refuge from blustery rain for light lunch - brilliant - friendly - welcoming - great background music and atmosphere and as for the food .....hubs had 'Special' of battered mackerel sandwich - came with lovely mixed dressed salad and I had a 'Starter ' - squid - again with lovely salad and... A nice friendly café with a relaxed atmosphere. We came her last week while it was tipping with rain outside. We just had coffee and cake. We had our 12 month old grandson and he was quite happy crawling around. There is a fair amount of comfortable seating as well as tables and chairs.
