The place is quite comfortable with separation between the tables, pleasant atmosphere. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable, without great pretensions but the four dishes we tried were very well prepared. They were delicious and very well treated. The head chef is an artist, simple but who by following this will go very far. And finally, the queen of the room, the cook's friendly wife: Mari Mar, an example of good treatment and closeness at the same time, professionalism and kindness. These qualities are becoming less and less abundant. Good luck and keep going like this, you will go far. Our thanks from Fraga.

A top notch restaurant for a memorable evening. A welcome of inexplicable kindness. Meal at a 5 star level we will come back with great pleasure and we recommend it to everyone. Value for money above France. Stop with your eyes closed.

Dinner in a town bar: €40/head
First: one of patatas bravas and a roast of escalivada. Seconds an entrecôte and octopus. Desserts: ice cream terrine and a piece of pudding. Except for the entrecôte, the rest doesn't even make it to the polygon menu.
The meat and octopus are good. But the price is high standing. They have pretension, but no quality.

11 of us turned up for lunch time meal. Wouldn't even serve us. Not one person in the restaurant and asked if we had a reservation. Went across the road to Pizza 1900 who happily served us. I know who I'd recommend. Walked back and still empty.

We finally got at L'Espurna after three years living in the area and to see it's popularity has been growing and growing.
To be fair I must admit we came here after one week on vacations having lunch and dinner in quite expensive restaurants, so reaching out L'Espurna with like an oasis: extremely friendly personel, nice atmosphere (deco is a must for movie fans), excellent menu choices at an incredible low price.
All together a very good alternative to the not-as-cheap restaurants you usually find in Puigcerdà and la Cerdanya in general.

Just the place to have a late lunch after a long morning of cross country skiing ! On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome and a buzzing atmosphere, the menu was so varied , something for everyone and it was delicious Catalan home cooking, generous portions and great service, we didn't wait tpo long between plates and my highlight was the bowl of clams and artichokes in a warm creamy sauce and the cherry on the cake was a 100 % natural fruit salad with no added sugar, my perfect finish to a great value menu of the day at only €11.50 ! Honestly , what more could i ask for ?

Stopped by this place with a friend. It is owned and operated by the family. The atmosphere is casual and food is delicious. My friend had rabbit with escargo and I had black rice with seafood...clams, shrimp, mussels and squid... Very tasty but way too much food. The first course was roasted peppers, eggplant mushrooms and tomato. It was tasty and refreshing. French bread servred on the side. This is typical catalyn food and it was really good.

The best is the food. Typical good quality courses at a good price. The restaurant is decorated with a standard taste, we didn't like it much, nor very comfortable neither. Very practical restaurant at the entrance of the town that offers good and fast service. One can watch the football games as well.

It is much better than it looks. From the outside, it looks more like a fast food place. We went for the Pizza menu, nothing too fancy, and we got a really good surprise because the pizza was very tasty, with a home-made feel to it. Entrées were freshly cooked, not amazing but good.
Service was very friendly and accommodating: we arrived pretty early for dinner, it looked like the kitchen was not working yet, and anyhow we were served with no delay whatsoever, and with a friendly smile.
