The food in this restaurant is simply delicious, fresh, tasty, well balanced, prepared from local ingredients. They also serve very good wine. The outdoor seating is beautiful, it is accessible directly from the Convent gardens.

When you are in Litomysl and want beer, you go to Veselka. When you want coffee, you go to Kafemysl. When you want wine, you go to Novy svet. When you want steak, you go to Havran. When you want chocolate, you go to Chocco...kafe. When you want anything else to eat or drink, you go to Bohem.More
Not so bad. But very often in cheap hospodas (oberges) I have better duck for 30% of the Bohem price. Cabbage was not sour enough. Meat was done well.
Delicious food and good portion sizes for a lunch menu as well as many options, all for a very reasonable price. Convenient central location next to the church. We enjoyed the traditional food (the rabbit soup was delicious!) and some modern cuisine as well. The...staff were polite with our requests.More
We visited the restaurant with my family on our way to Brno. Calm environment, pleasant waitress and delicious food for reasonable price.
We went thorough Litomyšl on Friday noon. The modern designed restaurant with atmosphere, nice and quite fast service, good food. We’ll be back soon to try your coffee. 😎
This place we have had as another tip to visit, so after the chateau guided tour we have headed here to have some rest and meal. The environment is set to feel comfortable, but maybe just a little thing to make it to the top...– as it was raining outside and the door to the terrace were almost all the time opened, it was a bit chilly inside time to time. The meals were good. Nothing common, nothing you can get everywhere else – just like you would expect it in such place. The lentil soup was quite interesting I must say. As I said it was cold and raining outside, we spent a lot of time here and had even desserts, so in the end we had a whole experience and it was on the better side of course. I must say for the meal we would come back, no problem. But as I can see in other reviews as well, the service, or rather the personnel is some weaker part. Chatting about reservations, other guests and so on all the time loudly, so we heard them is something you would not like to go through in such place. This place is not a family restaurant, nor a café for afternoon talks, but if you want some decent lunch or dinner you will get it in place, which is rather calm and you can discuss and maybe have some fun as well. The meal, you will enjoy.More
Place was great as we not only had great tasty food but enjoyed some really great service. Place was very quite and well decorated. Service was great as it was not very pricey. Recommend this place as a must go for great satisfaction.
we sat outside, enjoyed nice weather at this july evening. we drank beer first and the house red wine wich I do npt recommend. I ate roast goose, which was good, but the quantity was too much and I would have made it little more...juicier or put some juicy acomponianMore
We visited this restaurant when in Litomysl checking the Agricultural school. Great location for restaurant. First impression, i was it schocked when they ask for reservation, would expect the host service at the door if they want to run it this way. Nevertheless that was...only one cloud on the visit. The food was delicious, servis perfect, timing superb and price fair. Will come again.More
We have stayed in the hotel for2 nights and had a 3 course dinner as a part of the package. The restaurant is modern, cosy, almost intimate. The menu offers both traditional Czech meals as well as salads, pasta and burger dishes. We have had...chicken consomme, pork tenderloin with potato pure, roasted carrots with dark beer sauce and creme brulee for desert. The presentation of each course was creative and beautiful. Waiter was professional in every step making sure that everything is according to our needs. Soup was strong flavored and delicious made wtih home made noodles. Main course was just astonishing - perfect balance of flavors and textures just melting with each bite. Portion was generous in size. Desert included not just perfect creamy "pudding", but also sorbet and fresh fruits on the side. Tasty as every course before. Bohem is among the best restaurants I have ever been to and I do recommend it to everyone who wants great quality at reasonable price (3 course at around 25 Euro).More
The restaurant is part of the hotel complex and is very close to the main square and the castle. We were a big group and we could find a big table for all of us but that was because we arrived very late for lunch....They had a regular menu and a week menu. The food was very nice and the portions were a good size. This restaurant is the kind of restaurant where you have white tablecloth and they serve you whit white gloves. In a corner of the room they have a box with toys and they offer high chairs for toddlers. The prices are a bit higher that the usual pub but nothing exceptional.More
We were very satisfied with the menu there, which is not easy because our family is complicated (vegetarians, gluten-frees, etc.) and we find very good meal for each of us. The staff was really helpfull. In comparison with many restaurants in the Czech Republic the...menu was rather imaginative.More
We came to this restaurant because of the good rating and the food really is quite good, the service however was awful. We didn't feel welcome at all. We decided to give them a second chance and brought friends and they treated us worse, maybe...they thought we enjoyed it the first time! About the ambiance- we sat on the lower outside terrace the first time, and the soundtrack was a concert of the kitchen staff noisily washing dishes, so maybe avoid that space. The second time we wanted to go to the upstairs terrace, but were told it was closed, sadly. Inside is cosy, maybe too warm for summer, but the frosty reception from the waiting staff should keep you cool.More
We came to Litomyšl for a conference in microbiology and in this restaurant they treated us like authentic bacteria! In their effort to look posh they ended up being disrespectful. The food isn't bad but the service leaves a bad taste in your mouth, we...ate here twice but we will definitely never come back.More
