We visited this restaurant while staying at a nearby hotel. They put on the table a WATERY avocado dip with chips. Tomatoes salsa was watery as well. I wonder if the chef was trying to save money! We did not enjoy it at all.

Shenandoah is expanding at the moment, so try a visitors website for options nearer than The Woodlands in case there are any in Shenandoah itself. Escalante, the restaurant mentioned in the other response, is a large Tex=Mex chain - totally different to the vibe/set=up in this family-owned, Mexican restaurant - depends on your preference!
