- Food was good - but it was too expensive (150 kuna for homemade pasta with small shrimps which are the same as you can buy frozen in every shop, not local, and 140 kuma for homemade pasta with meat) 1 although it was homemade...pasta, it was too expensive compared with other restaurants at this level (even high-class restaurants are not that expensive) - for this price you can at least expect adriatic shrimps - service was friendlyMore

We really enjoyed the food at Marinero. My husband had perfect grilled fish and I took the advice of Georgia, at M & J Suites, and had a traditional Pasticada. Both were very good. This restaurant is very conveniently located--on a side street that isn't...far from anywhere in the Old Town. We ate outside and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the friendly waitress. House wine was very good too!More

We followed advice by the Lonely Planet, and were not let down. This was one of the few restaurants in Croatia that was welcoming. Our waiter was excellent. We had an excellent swordfish steak. However, it did not include any garnishes, so we had to...order a regional side dish of potatoes and spinach. The price was reasonable, maybe because it was out of the way.More

Me and my family came to dinner at Marinero Restaurant in the center of Korcula. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service and hospitality. All in all a very nice little restaurant to recommend to anyone. Thank you very much

After 7 nights eating out in Korčula I have had the best meal at this restaurant. Tucked away on a side street in the old town it is lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfares. Friendly, helpful staff, nice...wine and delicious food. Definitely go here!More

We were recommended here as the locals tend to eat here. The owners are fishermen so the fish is caught and served by them which is nice. It's down a small alleyway and is easy to miss and it doesn't look like anything special from...the outside. However it is a friendly little restaurant with friendly service. It's worth visiting here for some local fish but there are no real views of the sea. The prices were reasonable as we got the black squid ink starter 100kr and fish platter 185kr and a side of 30kr. This was shared between two of us, which was tasty and plentyMore

I sometimes think the welcome you get, tends to influence your culinary experience, and this case in was warm, friendly and efficient. A small but by far adequate menu, emphasis on fish. Our order was quickly taken and soon delivered. The quality was good on...the food and so was the wine. It's difficult to rate on cost as we have not a lot of experience of Croatia yet. Would return to try and award that extra starMore

It was recommended by our landlord. Such a nice place. The waitress was friendly and worked fast. And the food... I want to go back and to have a boiled potatoes they had and tuna carpaccio. So simple and so tasty.
