Stopped into this place twice while vacationing in Puerto Rico. The Cuban was great but this breakfast sandwich was the bomb! The motadella in it has amazing flavor. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

We had breakfast yesterday at La Familia Bakery 2 in Rio Grande. We loved the eggs, bread, and doughnuts! The prices were so reasonable, too. A full, complete breakfast (including coffee and juice) for 2 cost just $14. We took some sandwiches and empanadas to go for later in the day. It was a busy morning, but they offered quick... More

The place is small and maybe because of all the great reviews I was expecting more. Seems to me that this is a typical puertorrican bakery with very good coffee, very good bread, but nothing special to make me want to get in a long waiting line again. Most of PR bakeries offer the same good coffee, good bread. No... More

Great food friendly service. We never eat at the same place twice when on Vacation- this was our exception. Get the sweet bread.

Stopped for something sweet after shopping. All we purchased was excellent and fresh. A small dive but the guys serving were helpful and nice seeing we didn't speak Spanish. Will try breakfast as others have raved about.

Lovely food, friendly, offered us the English menu to view once they realized we were not that good with Spanish. Great omelette and toast and bacon and the fresh pressed $1 cup of coffee wonderful, pastries looked great, plan on coming back for those for a snack ate for less than ten dollars including juice & coffee

Pizza was good hot fresh staff was nice will order again. Would be nice if they are more attentive but it is what it is. The staff at this hotel is below average keep that in mind.

Their sweet bread Cuban sandwich was delicious and had to take some pastries to go. Their breakfast sandwiches are very good too.

This is one of the best bakeries in the area. With that, I can say it is a decent bakery compared to many in the area which are just "not great". A lot of this stems from local preference where Wonder Bread style bread is the "pan" of choice. My kingdom for a baguette, or a good Italian loaf.
