If your looking for a real cayman meal stop by this place. The staff are all locals and it's like walking into a caymanian home and sitting done for dinner. The food is great and the prices are very affordable. Having lunch right next to the water is outstanding.

Read all the great reviews so stopped here for lunch. Very basic, pan fried, greasy fish. "Coconut grouper" consisted of a piece of pan fried fish (not sure what kind, but it didn't resemble grouper) with some shredded coconut on top. Accompanied by some tasteless rice and a piece of fried dough. $12.50 US. Unfortunately, I would have to call... More

This is a Cayman gem! When coming to the island, your trip is not complete if you do not come and savor true island flavor. This is great food and doesn't cost you allot of$. I've been coming to Cayman a long time and always stop and see Josephine and have her coconut grouper and her ribs (only served on... More

This is a must place you need to have your lunch. An experience of local food and friendly hospitallity. Easy going and just simply good food at a price you will never experience again on Grand Cayman. Wow we enjoyed.

I love this place, it's how the Caribbean should be ! great food, reasonably priced and with the ever present chickens ! Could do with an alcohol licence, but you can take your own, eat as a 'takeaway' and sit on the wall watching the sun set. Only issue is that It closes too early !

Wife and I went here and got the owner's recommendations (Cayman Style Grouper and Coconut Grouper)! Price was fair for the area, but the food, the service and the scenery was great!! We loved it so much we came back before we left to get more!! Highly recommend Heritage Kitchen!!!

This place is great! Very much a local, off-the-beaten-path type place. But if you go you'll find delicious food at a charming and quaint seaside locale. The menu is pretty small, but it was some of the best fish I've ever had. Also there was a nice old local man there who brought us almonds (both dry and fresh) plucked... More

Hands down, the best seafood I have ever had. Very friendly staff. Returning to Grand Cayman in March 2017, this is the first place that I plan to stop. It is that good.

Local restaurant with delicious food right on the waterfront. Prices were reasonable, outside dinning on picnic tables. If you are looking for white table clothes and stuffy wait staff don't come here, if you want delicious fresh homemade dishes this is the place.

Thank Rebecca S

Local Cayman food at it's very best. Recommended by all who have eaten there. Written up as the place to go to in the Cayman Islands by the New York Times.Heritage Kitchen lies snuggled next to Boggy Sands Road in West Bay, serving some of the best local food.Fresh fish fry, fritters and fish tea are some of the most popular dishes.Diners eat at wooden tables outside the tiny restaurant or can sit on the sea wall a few feet away and watch the waves. The restaurant is behind the Heritage shopping centre at the four-way stop.Open Wed/Thu until 8pm,Fri/Sat until 10 pm and Sunday until 8 pm which is our Barbeque Day!
