Loved Heritage kitchen! Definitely the most authentic Caribbean food on the island and the fish is fresh and local. A must while in Cayman

I had the pan fried grouper and I think my husband had the mahi mahi. Came with bread, rice and beans, plantains, and salad. I split mine with the kids and everyone loved it. Eat there or take across the road to eat on the wall overlooking the water.

Loved the Local Vibe at this outdoor venue spot. Picnic tables and great Coconut Grouper. Like everything in GC, it comes with a price, but this was as affordable as a good meal gets there. Hang your feet over the sea wall and look over West Bay. If sand between your toes and a casual, backyard feel are what you... More

Loved the food. We had the local flavor grouper with a red sauce and onions. It came with rice, fry bread and a tiny amt of salad. Fish was fresh and pan-fried. We loved it. Very big for lunch. Original island food.

Amazing food and atmosphere. It is out door dining with chickens running between your legs but the food is outstanding and the owners are friendly and warm hearted. Do yourself a favor and have the coconut grouper. Your live will be changed.

If your looking for a real cayman meal stop by this place. The staff are all locals and it's like walking into a caymanian home and sitting done for dinner. The food is great and the prices are very affordable. Having lunch right next to the water is outstanding.

Read all the great reviews so stopped here for lunch. Very basic, pan fried, greasy fish. "Coconut grouper" consisted of a piece of pan fried fish (not sure what kind, but it didn't resemble grouper) with some shredded coconut on top. Accompanied by some tasteless rice and a piece of fried dough. $12.50 US. Unfortunately, I would have to call... More

Local Cayman food at it's very best. Recommended by all who have eaten there. Written up as the place to go to in the Cayman Islands by the New York Times.Heritage Kitchen lies snuggled next to Boggy Sands Road in West Bay, serving some of the best local food.Fresh fish fry, fritters and fish tea are some of the most popular dishes.Diners eat at wooden tables outside the tiny restaurant or can sit on the sea wall a few feet away and watch the waves. The restaurant is behind the Heritage shopping centre at the four-way stop.Open Wed/Thu until 8pm,Fri/Sat until 10 pm and Sunday until 8 pm which is our Barbeque Day!
