About
On crossing the wooden bridge that leads to Ristorante Pappagallo, you will see swimming beneath there are sleek silvery tarpon, always on the lookout for scraps from the kitchen. You are thus, thrown into a world of the exotic, even before reaching the front door! Then, as you enter the spacious foyer, you're met at the front door by an African gray parrot, humorously called Humphrey Bogart. He is one of the oldest Pappagallo employees with over ten years experience in welcoming guests and posing for photos (especially with the little ones!). You will then immediately notice the inviting and well-stocked bar, decorated in an art deco style, where customers can take pre-dinner drinks or enjoy

If Grand Cayman is the culinary capital of the Caribbean than Ristorante Pappagallo is its capital city. A lovely scenic 15 minute ride from Seven Mile Beach ends at a majestic 14-acre bird sanctuary with extensive wildlife. The restaurant over the lagoon bridge is known...More

For family dining Pappagallo always delivers an exceptional meal and service. We sat in the main first room and were happy that it wasn’t extremely loud and that we could hear each other. The service was also excellent and attentive. I recommend the scallops appetizer,...More

We went the first time because of convenience to our rental condo, then return twice more within 6 days - the food and service was that good. The seafood was remarkably fresh and beautifully cooked without the flavour getting buried in spices. The portions are...More

This restaurant warrants the fame for it’s authentic Italian cuisine and is worth going out of your way for if you aren’t staying in the West Bay. They do pasta right- the simple genre with the right sauce that makes your mouth water and dream...More

If you are staying at the extreme east end of the Island (Rum Point or anywhere around that area) it is close to an hour drive, if not more. Remember that cutting through Frank Sound (road) makes the trip shorter, but still... More
