About
On crossing the wooden bridge that leads to Ristorante Pappagallo, you will see swimming beneath there are sleek silvery tarpon, always on the lookout for scraps from the kitchen. You are thus, thrown into a world of the exotic, even before reaching the front door! Then, as you enter the spacious foyer, you're met at the front door by an African gray parrot, humorously called Humphrey Bogart. He is one of the oldest Pappagallo employees with over ten years experience in welcoming guests and posing for photos (especially with the little ones!). You will then immediately notice the inviting and well-stocked bar, decorated in an art deco style, where customers can take pre-dinner drinks or enjoy

I have been coming to Pappagallo for 30 years. Been all around the world and eaten at many great restaurants including Goel Robuchon’s restaurants in France and by far the best Foie Gras I have ever had , is here at Pappagallo’s! Vico( owner) and...his staff are spectacular! Cheers to Jerado, Franco, Roberto and Tito- great guys I have gotten to know over the many years.More

My wife and I had dinner at Pappagallo. Both the food and service were excellent. My wife had the set course meal and i had veal. Very very good.

Superb all around!!! Service was excellent!! Food excellent!! They were so attentive and accommodating I felt comfortable right away. Very accepting and understanding of children. We had the New Zealand rack of lamb and the shrimp and lobster buba style; both dishes met every culinary...expectation! Thank you for making ny birthday extra special Pappa Gallos!More

Thought we'd check out the new Steak menu at Pappagallo, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The service was SO good we stopped by for drinks and nibbles the next day too. Highly recommend Ristorante Pappagallo

It’s a but over priced and the food is very small in portion but the place is beautiful, clean and the food is pretty tasty.

Vico and his staff always go out of their way to make your visit a memorable one. It's a little out of the way but the ambience is so unique that it's worth the drive! I particularly favor the seafood dishes here but you can't...go wrong with any selection on the menu!More

This restaurant at the northern end of West Bay sits on a lake/shore inlet which is beautiful with the moon glistening over it. We ate in a screened porch area with lazy large ceiling fans and it felt like being outside. The food was delicious...and artfully presented with attentive service and help dealing with a food allergy. I would recommend a reservation. The only negative was a forgotten side but it turned out not to be needed anyway. I would highly recommend especially for a special occasion/nice dinner.More

The chef does not take the impressive vegetarian listings on their menu seriously at all. The cauliflower cannelloni was utterly flavorless. The vegetable medley was a plate of over boiled veggies. Thoroughly disappointed......

If you are staying at the extreme east end of the Island (Rum Point or anywhere around that area) it is close to an hour drive, if not more. Remember that cutting through Frank Sound (road) makes the trip shorter, but still... More
