We went here for a special occasion and we had a really special time. We took the Lobster menu with unlimeted wone refills, and even though I prefer steamed Lobster, the grilled lobster was delicious. 1st time ever in a restaurant, that I had to beg (several times) to pay my bill. Very anoying experience.

Very overpriced basic food. A lot of smokers standing among the tables. Our table was nxt to the " smokers station" so what to expect , still not nice. The reason for the last time, is just that the food was not good enough. It...was not a nice experience at all.More

On returning from a visit to Spain, I tried to ease the transition to "normal" life by ordering a plate of garlic prawns, only to experience that at 18 EUR for nine prawns on a plate with a very large border in the company of...a bag of chips (French fries for those across the pond), I regretted trying this that far from the South. But other dishes seem to be more worthwile, and the staff is doing a decent job. The place seems to attract mainly rather snobbish people (of which we were part for a moment, logically speaking), but is otherwise OK: the restaurants next to it have a much worse record concerning the service. Could be one of those places where things get better once you're "one of the bunch", i.e. a regular customer. General remark (not only concerning this place, but a general trend): why not keep things simpler, serving simple food (garlic prawns *are* considered very simple food in southern Europe) a simple way, focusing on food quality and service rather than design.
