I can not recommend this place enough- we rang them with 1 hours notice to say we had a family of 14 people for dinner- with 7 children and a baby and they found us a table in the corner of the restaurant so we weren't disturbing other guests. We had a good selection of food on the menu and... More

This pub generally has very good reviews however I would like to highlight a rather glaring discrepancy that somewhat dampened the evening! We arrived around 7.00pm and sat outside near the children's play area. I went to order the drinks and showed my Gourmet Society card. The manager refused it saying I needed to give 24 hours notice! I told... More

We were told there was a 45 minute wait for food: by the time we had the main course it was an hour and a half from arrival. The table was sticky; the food when it arrived had obviously been sitting around too long as it was dry and unappetising; and the duck leg was certainly not worth the price.... More

This is a beautiful restaurant for all the family (we like to go as a couple for some peace). The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is always delicious. Its such a harmonic warm and welcoming place to go. We will always go back. There is a small play area for kids and lovely garden area to eat. Highly... More

Very pleased with the pub, food is not great but hey it's a pub. Always visiting when the weather allows it for a coffee or a pint in the sun in their amazing beer garden. Would recommend if not too fussy with food and like open sitting areas.

Visited with the family (me the missus and 4 girls aged 2, 7, 13 & 15) on a lovely, sunny Tuesday evening. The place was very busy which is always a good sign. We found a table in the large beer garden and went to the bar to place our orders. Between us we had the steak and ale pie... More

We booked table for 12 noon as some of the family had to be else where, close by, for 2pm. To start with they didn't unlock until 10 past 12. We were seated right at the back of the pub in a corner (out of the way). Drink orders were taken and came back in reasonable time, we perused the... More
