Corazon de Alcachofa is one of those restaurants, that when you walk in, you realize that this is going to be a nice dining experience. The reception was warm, reservations were in order and drinks were ordered. There were no menus and the menu board was brought to our table, as the selections vary from what food sources might be... We had the grilled artichoke, and there is a reason that it is in the name of the restaurant; it was fantastic. I had fish and vegetables, and it was all cooked to perfection.

What's right: Stylish restaurant with stylish clientele. The arugula salad was the best I've had in Mexico. The artichoke is a good choice too. Waiters were professional an courteous. The fettuccine and gorgonzola was good, but I'd add a vegetable too to break up the heaviness of the dish. Great selection of mezcal. What's wrong: Club music with that incessant... More

Let me start by saying that the location and style of the restaurant was very high class. We were a large group and sat outside which was very attractive looking over the garden and ornamental arches. Our problems began when the menu arrived. Instead of receiving an individual menu it was written on a large board which at our end... More

We were 6 people having a typical Mexican Sunday lunch that stretched for hours. Appetizers: the tuna tartare was superb, absolutely superb; steak tartare was chopped beef. flavor was fine, but I'm used to French tartare and this was like Angus. Skip the grilled Alaska king crab leg. Oysters were pretty good, sauce needed more citrus (available of course). Entrees:... More

A very small and cozy place, the food is delicious, but they just prepare few portions of each dish, so be aware. The place is pricey for Guadalajara, but is perfect for a business dinner or a special celebration.

A great restaurant, with and excellent combination of beef and seafood. Ideally to go with your partner in a romantic date, or with friends to celebrate a special event.

They serve great food and have super expensive "kobe" beef (from texas , nebraska, etc.). Almost everything tastes superb, however they overcharge you by a lot. You can get similar quality food for way less in the city.
