My husband and I asked the waitress if this Spanish restaurant served tapas. She told us in good English that they served very small plates of either lamb or pork local dishes served with chips or Canary potatoes. It wasn't exactly what we asked for but hoped for the best and selected chips. When the large plates arrived the food... More

Our meals were not fresh, warmed up with a microwave, everything was overpriced. Only the staff friendliness worth 1 star

Typical Canary island restaurant although by tourist standards fairly old. Predates the civil war and a series of interesting photos on the interior walls. Worth popping in should you be in Cruz de Tejeda. Imaginatively constructed bill.

Had the recommendation of the staff and very good it was. Served outside in the sun very pleasant. Should have asked the price first because it was an arm and a leg.

I ordered mushrooms and prawns but got a plate with mushrooms only. I complained and the waiter told me that they had no more prawns, but no worries: price was the same with or without prawns, so I paid €11,50 for a dozen mushrooms. Main course was average, and the restaurant closed very early so we almost had to swallow... More

Our waiter recommended 'a local seasonal speciality' which turned up as half a red pepper, reheated boiled potatoes and reheated meat masquerading as the local lamb speciality! The 'special local wine' was very poor in comparison to the excellent wine we had tasted at Bodegas Las Tirajanas and other quality local producers. We were given hors d'oeuvres of bread and... Once you sit on the terras, a way too friendly lady comes and take your order. There is no drinkingmenu on the table, because everything is really expensive. A Fanta costs 4 euro. She recommended the specialty of the day, but that was a really small dish she said. Therefore she also recommended a small salad with it. When I... More

When arrived back to our hotel, we decided not to eat in hotel but try something new in the area. It was a mistake :( The stuff were very kind and helpful but that is all about positive. The food was forgettable (if not bad)and extremely overpriced! For drinking something maybe it is a good place but do not recommend... More

Horrible service rude staff. They bring bread with no olive oil or vinegar. Thats could be ok because there was some local pastas with it. But before we even finished bread waiter came took our plate away and an put our main meal on the table. Really expensive and food quality and service doesn't even come close to the price.... More
