Nice restaurant, friendly people, great Food. Started with beer tasting with cheese. Then great soup (or salad) was served and finally pork tenderloin. Finished with sublime freshly turned icecream. Honest and fine food ! Greatly recommandable!

Tejeda is a lovely village in the middle of Gran Canaria with beautiful views. It took us quite some hairpin turns and time to get here, but it was well worth it. Young but knowledgeable staff. They recommended us a local wine that was not...over dominantly volcanic. As we were also not to hungry but wanted to try the large menu, we could order it for three while being four. We had some amazing veggie dishes like the tomato, and the bell pepper appetizer, but the piglet with watercress emulsion was my favorite. The brownie dessert with lightly smokey ice, was also very nice.More

A friend recommended the place and we shot up there this afternoon for a sumptuous lunch. In normal times they have a full menu, but at present they have a fixed menu experience with 3 started options, 3 main courses and 3 deserts for €25....All the dishes were lovely and full of flavour. Good value in my opinion and a big surprise to find this sort of restaurant in Tejeda. Truly a delight. To put the cherry on top of an excellent meal they had my favourite gin as well (Tanqueray Flor de Sevilla) which for me was a big bonus. The place was great, the food was great, and I had a blast with my friends. Thanks to the team at Texeda for a really enjoyable lunch in these uncertain Covid times!More

Visited due to good reviews, was however really disappointed. It looks like restaurant tries to look like high kitchen, but having tasting menu and stylish serving is definitely not enough. I ordered a burger and told to have it medium done. What I got was...totally cold sandwich with RAW tasteless meat. My parents had pork with eggs and fries. Pork I must say tasted good, but having 5 small pieces for 16 euro is unacceptable.More

We really loved the food.. high quality with craft beer from their own brewery. Hidden gem in the mountains of Gran Canaria!

So while visiting Tejeda we stopped at Texeda brewery for lunch. They offer their menus in 5+ languages which is really nice, since we were used to spanish menus throughout the island. I tried the signature canary food, called Ropa vieja, which is made from...slow cooked goat meat and chickpeas. It was delicious, comes topped with cooked egg. It's really something different at goes along really well with their wheat beer which they brew at home. Prices are fair and the waiter was really nice. If you are in Tejeda, it's a must visit !More

We regularly vacation in Gran Canaria, and we always struggle to find authentic, delicious food. This time we were lucky enough to come across Texeda restaurant after a day spent hiking in the mountains. Located in the beautiful village of Tejeda, it offers excellent food...made with fresh and locally grown ingredients. We will definitely come back to try other dishes!More

Visited restaurant with teenages while exploring the island by car. The menu had limited options but the tacos and burgers were great and reasonably priced. There was a tasting menu for 50 euro if you like that sort of thing. Setting was great and service...was good.More

Just returned from a late lunch in this exquisite restaurant and without a doubt, it’s the best meal I’ve eaten in Gran Canaria in over 25 years of living here! The food comes primarily from the restaurants finca (small holding) and is organic, from the...lamb to the eggs and vegetables. As ‘fancy’ as the food is, the restaurant is totally unpretentious and you could walk in Wearing shorts and hiking boots or your ‘best outfit’ and feel equally comfortable. The owner/chef came to great all the diners and was incredibly humble, and Fran the waiter was so so friendly and sweet! They take Canarian classics and tip them on their head without losing the authenticity of each ingredient. 100% recommend for couples, families, friends, basically anyone who loves good food! And the drive up is WOW also! Don’t miss this gem of a place!More

In case you're taking the bus to Tejeda, it's just about 50 meters uphill from the Tejeda bus terminal.
