We Stayed in a Tiny Home - and why you should too: These amazing ‘cubby houses for adults’ are completely off grid and eco friendly, providing an awesome little ‘glamping’ alternative for outdoor lovers. They give you the opportunity to escape the daily grind, switch off and give those fingers a rest from scrolling ‘the gram’. Just what we all need right? See more below....

A Million Star Hotel ~ she knows me well 🌠😍. A little escape into the wild is just what we needed. Who needs a fancy 5 Star hotel when you can have the WHOLE GALAXY 🙌. Camp fires, nature sounds, animals and access to my adventure rig ~ no complaints here haha. Cheers for an epic weekend away Trace 😘. What would you choose? A hotel or a tiny home?

It's world ocean day and there's no hiding that us Blondies love ALL things Ocean 🌏💙. Here's me saving a Turtle from the mudflats in West Aus. He would've died from being in the sun before the tide returned to cool him down again. I was so happy I came across him in his time of need and could lend a helping hand (...and a car ride to the nearest water!) 👍.

I can see a little flame ignite inside my two children whenever we head outside for an adventure. There’s something about the fresh air, the freedom of movement and wanderlust that fills them with energy. One of our favourite activities is hunt for treasures and spot insects and beetles - I'm sure your kids are the same! Here's a free Nature Hunt checklist to find with your mini adventurers.

CAN YOU SPOT US 👀? Isn't it amazing to see things in perspective ~ these two pics are of the same location taken only moments apart (Swipe to see 👉). Which do you prefer? A birds eye view or something a little closer to terrafirma? It was super exciting to explore this epic spot, it was our first time here at Fingal Spit and it's not going to be our last ~ just look at that water... 💙 I literally blinked and Rob and Zig had both stripped off and jumped in for a swim 🙃👌.

Work hard, Play hard!! That's the theme for us Blondies this year 👊. Our aim is to be more productive and efficient so there's more time for this yewww! Each morning we have been having a quick meeting over a coffee, we write our 'to do' list for the day and then smash it out. With a clear focus on what needs to be done, we are staying on task and not getting distracted by 'shiny things' ...we are finding it super successful so far. We break it down into 3 sections: Work, Home & Self.

Thalassophile :: A lover of the sea, someone who loves the ocean 💦😍. We are huge Thalassophiles (Yes, it's a real word, ask google! 😋🤓)...and we are seriously thinking about an island adventure. Not just a holiday but packing up and living on a remote island somewhere in the South Pacific. Focusing on the simple things, living off the ocean and all her bounties. Surrounded by palm trees, coconuts and sandy beaches 🐚🌴. Would you live on a remote island for 6 - 12 months? Any suggestions?

RIDING ALONG ON MY PUSH BIKE HONEY - HAVIN’ A LAUGH OR TWO 🎶 ! It’s such a gorgeous time of year to head out for family bike rides. We’ve been loving the warmer weather and longer days that give us more time to explore! Swipe 👉 to see our favourite bike path and Marli’s toothless grin… it won’t be long before both front teeth fall out!! How long has it been since you have ridden a bike? It’s such a fun way to explore with the fam bam 🙌 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️

Phew! Tis' the season to be jolly 😜. We've started the silly season off with a BANG 💥 by hosting a super dooper family Chrissy party. The one thing we miss when we travel is our beautiful extended family and community vibes, so when we have time together our hearts burst 🎉💥... we'd better loosen our belts though as we have a long month ahead of food, fun and good times ~ yeeew 🤙 ...and there's nothing better than a sunset walk to end a busy weekend and burn off all the food ☺️.

Universal Studios Japan is SO AMAZING!! As you can see our time here was full of crazy fun. With our age kids (4 & 6 years) we spent most of our time in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Minon Park and Universal Wonderland (cue Elmo, Snoopy, Hello Kitty and Sesame Street fun!)... and some great indoor play areas with lovely aircon! Visit our blog theblondenomads.com.au for more info and hot tips for your Japan travels.

From temples to markets, laser light shows to cooking classes, we sure did it all while in Japan land. Before we travel anywhere we like to research our destination to make sure we get the most out of our time and this time we had the extra help with our itinerary from a company called Journy.
