One of the most incredible experiences for firefly lovers is the annual appearance of the synchronous fireflies in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park every spring. We were lucky enough to win the lottery (literally) to see them this year, and it was unlike anything we've ever experienced before!

When you think of Vegas, you may not instantly think of museums, but I'd argue that a visit to the Mob museum is an absolute must. Given the mob’s involvement with casinos throughout history, nothing could be more “Vegasy” than learning about the organized crime syndicates that at one point in time controlled many of the casinos there.

If Tokyo is your travel destination, leave a day or two in your itinerary to visit Tokyo Disney. DisneySea in particular is quite possibly the coolest Disney park out of all of them (also, the snacks are the best!)

Travel tip: wake up with sun and enjoy St. Marks Square in Venice all to yourself (and maybe a few pigeons). Not to mention the light is absolutely stunning this time of day.
