Has anyone tried the traditional tortilla here in Ecuador? Well, I gotta say it's one of my favorite Ecuadorian foods, even though it's a simple one. For those who have water in their mouth, I will explain: tortillas are a flour dough baked filled with cheese mixed with achiote. Sounds simple, but it's delicious. It's a snack to eat anytime, something that in Brazil we woud call "salgado" and you can find it easily in small towns like Guaranda, but this one is from "La Esperanza". Wanna try?
