Almond Blossom (1890) is one of the most reproduced images by Vincent van Gogh, painted towards the end of his life. The museum shop sells tasteful items with this motive.

Although the Caravaggio exhibition in the Centraal Museum only show two real Caravaggios (and a lot of followers) it is still very much worthwhile. Only until 24 March 2019.

The Starry Night, perhaps Vincent van Gogh’s most beloved painting, has been in New York City since 1941 .... A pity in a way, perhaps it can be reunited one day with all his other masterpieces in the glorious Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam. At the end of his life he maniacally produced one unforgettable painting per day. Many of them are there.
