I love dive bars and was very excited to check this place out after learning about it on TV. The look is perfect, lit only by Christmas lights and the vibe was great with an assortment of music being played. There were two sweet dogs walking around that would let you pet them and give you the puppy dog eyes....

Unusual dishes but everything perfectly cooked and so delicious. We had the mussels which were delectable in a sauce to die for. We also had the lamb chops which were cooked in a port wine reduction....perfection! Dessert was baklava dripping with honey. We had a delightful evening here and will definitely return when we are in NOLA!
Wow. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was amazing, lots of good flavors going on. Then our bacos arrived .... Spicy catfish, sweet and sticky tofu, explosions of flavors and textures and amazingness in this rice bun that blew my mind. Arguably the best food I've ever eaten.
