South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
Came here before going into the SFMoMa to eat lunch. We brought food from another location. Everything was easy, walked off the lunch on the paths, admired the different types of architecture that surrounded and the people watching was great.
We were here for a large convention that took place in the main building and also the West building. As one reviewer states: "Vast wasted space". I concur, it was pretty gigantic. Still, signage was adequate, bathrooms were clean. I have spent a fair amount of time in large places like this and this was adequate. Staff was especially friendly...
We visited the Children’s Creativity Museum with 3 generations—2 grandparents, 4 adult children and and 5 grandkids-ages 3,3,6,7 and 9. Everyone had a great time. We made a music video complete with costumes, props and karaoke. They will email your video to you so you can have it to keep. The Innovation station was another favorite stop. They hand you...
I ate here with my girlfriend in September 2018. We had the tasting menu with the drink pairings.
All the dishes were delicious and very creative. The drink pairings were also very well picked out and enjoyable.
The service was first class.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had.
We visited Pazzia tonight after a late arrival in San Francisco.
The staff were incredibly accommodating and warmly welcomed us.
My husband and son enjoyed Margherita pizza and prosciutto pizza with rocket which were among the best Pizzas we have tasted.
I had the pappardelle with beef ragu and my other son had gnocchi with pesto-delicious!
The pasta was fresh...

A girls luncheon with good food, beverages of all types, and a nice bright setting. The service was excellent and we'll be back as it's for a great cause. The $4 valet parking was a bonus! Ans so was the Fudge Sundae!!
First day in SF and wanted something close to hotel to walk to/from. Montesacro was a perfect find! We shared the arugula salad with Parmesan and a Pinsa with mushrooms, mozzarella and lardo. Everything was fresh, delicious and served with a smile. We shared the Torta for dessert and it was perfect as well. Wonderful, extensive wine list! I did...
My family recently visited with the Harbor Court Hotel. Perfect location for views, walking along the bay and access to the ferry buildings. Room and lounge was comfortable and modern. Staff is very friendly...loved the wine hour and in house coffee bar. You will not be disappointed in your stay at Harbor Court.
The room bathroom was large and luxurious, particularly the bedding, as was the bathroom. attended a meeting there and the food was excellent. Staff was attentive and personal. Loved that it was associated with Equinox for its gym facilities. Only wish they had a place to buy a "real sized" diet coke!
This small hotel is located very near the Ferry Building, which is great to wander through. Close enough to the Embarcadero Shopping and dining area and near to public transportation. Friendly staff and even though the rooms are quite small, they are furnished beautifully and the layout is very efficient. Our room, though facing the street was very quiet. Super...
First time stay at St.Regis Hotel in San Francisco. The Hotel was modern, decor was very feng shui. The hotel room had a calm balance with the layout. The staff always had a great positive attitude and were immediately helpful with any inquiries. Perfect location, walking distance to trolly, China Town, and Moscone Center. Ended the visit with a wonderful...
Top Notch Customer service! One of the best experiences I've had on the road in a very long time. I was there on a business trip for 12 days, and everyone was super helpful, caring to your needs and knew your name!! I recommend to anyone who needs to be near union square. Located 200-500 feet from mall
