We went to Buena Vista Park. It is a nice green park with lots of trees. It is in the Haight-Ashbury and Buena Heights districts.
It is the oldest park in San Francisco and has been a park since 1867. It was first named Hill Park. It was renamed to its current name in 1894.
As you walk or drive around this Haight/Western Addition/Castro transition district you will notice this unusual and lovely building. I think there are a number of important community institutions around here, plus just the places where people live.
