This was the first Camera Obscura I had ever visited or heard of. Still my favorite primarily due to the location. Fascinating mix of history and nature and just plain mesmerizing. I have since traveled to many Camera Obscuras in the world. Well worth the money and well worth the time.
This cafe is inside the California Palace of the Legion of Honor Museum. And you'll probably have to pay the museum entry to eat here. But once inside, it's really the only place to dine; even for miles around. This is quite casual dining usually ordered at the counter, paid for there, and delivered to your table. Had lunch here on Saturday and was very pleasantly surprised. Feel it was worth the price. Delicious and healthy. Far better than anything I have had here in the US or abroad in any museum. Cheers to the Cafe du Muse.
