One of the largest conservatories in the world, GPC is a true urban treat on the west side of Chicago. Great for a casual walk through to view an incredible variety of plants, three and shrubs in a couple of hours. Or, experts can study exotic plants in great detail. Admission is free (donation recommended) and parking is free in...
Our friends suggested one day in October that we must attend this museum. Very cool art inside with wonderful descriptive stories of the artist showcased and their inspiration for the work. The best part: it's free! Afterward, we had a wonderful meal in Pilsen. A terrific evening for sure.
My wife and I used both the buses and trains run by the CTA during our stay in Chicago. The trains are more commonly known as the L and can be elevated, subway and more conventional. I particularly enjoyed the elevated sections as they provided a great view of the city and a fresh perspective. You can buy unlimited travel...
One of my Chicago go-tos that never disappoints! The dishes are exquisitely made and like you cant fine anywhere else. The pig face and chocolate mousse are a must have!
Make sure to get cocktails & dessert too!!
The food here is delicious. Loved the Penne Vodka and my wife liked her Chicken Vesuvio she didn't want to part with the leftovers. But like most restaurants in Chicago, the portions are huge, we box the leftovers, and give them to the homeless. First time I saw her hesitate giving away her leftovers - they were that good.
We had an excellent experience. It was our first visit here. Waiters Very kind and friendly ,This place is one of the best restaurant ,We enjoy our delicious food thank you so much for making this special night a lovely experience.
I really enjoyed my stay here. Check-in and -out were very fast, room was clean and comfortable. Being able to text the front desk with questions/requests is a great perk, as is the Chromecast attached to the tv. I loved the in-room turntable (but I was doing a lot of record shopping). Quickly found free street parking two short blocks...
Our one night stay here was great.very clean quiet and updated hotel and also affordable in a great location. I would recommend staying here while in Chicago. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever seen. They even had almond milk for those who cant have dairy.
Excellent customer service from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed talking to them. Great location on the corner of Randolph and Jefferson. Easy walk to numerous restaurant and entertainment choices.
A true gem. Renovation, reuse, and repurposing of old buildings is our business in Kalamazoo so it was so cool to see a really great retrofit of an old building repurposed into a very creative, well designed, charming hotel.

Always a great vibe and hot spot at the Hoxton even during the cold Chicago winter. The staff is amazing particularly the check-in hosts Matt and Charlie in the evening. Free water and even milk for everyone is great. Moreover, the simple free breakfast is a beautiful touch. I do not mind that the room are more New York-like since...
