"Center of crafts, nightlife, restaurants and street art in Palermo"
reviewed February 23, 2019 by TryppAdams
I ended up here a few times while staying in Palermo. It was a short walk from my accommodations and offered up a lot of options. The center of Plaza Serrano held crafts and local art, surrounded by restaurants and bars across the street. I found that places off the initial ring, like a block or two away offered up...
We were reading about the area and decided to take a journey on the
Subtle. The Subte is easy to figure out and we have found the locals to be helpful in finding things. It is a walk from the Subte stop and the area is filled with storefronts, homes and restaurants. It was nice to get a different viewpoint...
This is a combination coffee shop and bookstore. The food is simple good, and very reasonable in price. It is quiet where a person read, relax, or study. Books are a bit expensive but I like the library atmosphere.

I work from home and was thrilled to have a backup office space should something happen to my internet connection at home (which is not great in Argentina).
I went on a saturday to get info on the rates and the girl at the front desk was incredibly helpful giving me all the information I needed.
On Monday, I decided...
Excellent gallery for Latin American art. The staff at Gachi Prieto were incredibly knowledgeable about contemporary art (many different media), and the cultural scene in Buenos Aires. They told us about the artists and talked about the works in a way that we could appreciate them so much more.
We really enjoyed our meal and wine at Fogón Asado.
The staff are great and the quality of food and wine was also good.
We enjoyed the ‘show’ and the atmosphere of sitting around the open fire where our meal was being cooked.
We would absolutely visit again when we return to Buenos Aires as it is good value for...
Last week My husband and I came here for my birthday as we had just arrived in Buenos Aires the previous day. We were not disappointed! The lady that served us was the owner and walked us through the menu with her perfect suggestions. Amazing steaks and great garlic fries! We are in this great city for one month and...
We went to Sullivan’s to see the AFC and NFC playoff games last night. There were plenty of TVs’ and they were accommodating if changing channels so that we could see the 49er’s. The food was good but the service a bit slow. All in all a nice evening at a reasonable price.

Very good food, and my husband said the best sweetbreads he'd ever had! Osvaldo, our waiter, gets a special shout out for being extremely knowledgable about the menu and for making good recommendations. Service was excellent.
We spent two full days and one night in Buenos Aires lodging at the Mine Hotel. The staff were incredible and gave us great information about the area. The hotel allowed us to use all the facilities for both days even though we were staying only one night. I highly recommend boutique style hotels and The Mine makes the top...
Due to the flight suspensions out of Argentina, we booked the Glu last minute. The rooms were as described: we had 35sqm which is loads for 2 large cases, extra large bed, sofa and a food & drink counter. Plus a small balcony.
Small but well designed, modern bathroom.
It’s the service that does it. We were liked after by...
During the Covid crisis, our hotel was forced to hold us under quarantine for a few days but staff went out of their way to ensure we had every service available, including finding us ice for evening cocktails. Later during the crisis, L’hotel Palermo was forced to close and evict all guests. The hotel management took it upon themselves to...
A great small boutique hotel in the Palermo Soho neighbourhood. Well appointed rooms and a quiet courtyard at the back.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Good buffet breakfast and many restaurants nearby.
Very special, boutique hotel, lovely decor and terrific staff. The breakfast was very good as was the service. Light and airy hotel with a baby grand piano for everyone to play. Welcome drink on arrival and helpful hints on restaurants etc.
