This park is very nice. It has a calm, serene feel, especially when it is not very crowded. In recommended coming here and spending time walking around all the various gardens. There are many flowers and trees. It is a nice feast for the eyes.
I have seen pagodas that are more beautiful and special. Wouldn't say it's worth to come down to Songjiang for, but if you combine it with the Xilin temple, it might be nice to walk in the park for a bit.
A small but superbe mosque in the middle of nowwhere !! Do NOT miss the cimetery at the back ... ansolute beauty. It goes without saying that dressing should be appropriate for both male as well as females. Avoid prayer time.

If you want to see real China in Shanghai, THIS is the place.
And at the end of your visit, you can even cool down with a cold beer at the Redbar, there.

I have stayed here for about 5 times since 2 years a go and complain to them every time I stay there, but there seems no sign of change.
