Excellent place to spend time and see art. Multiple levels and multiple artists at the same time, not that crowded regarding art placement and people. Museum is in nice area so walk afterwards gives extra experience.
I learned about this Museum just recently and decided to see it on my own. Big surprise!
Amazing combination of several old buildings - party open and partly indoor. If going during cold weather - have warm clothes! The Museum is free every 3rd Sunday of each month. Otherwise you need a ticket. I can take photos for free with...
The man at the front door needs to be trained how to greet visitors. He shouted brutally “wipe your shoes, wipe your shoes” in Russian as we entered. A horrible welcome even for these Soviet-hardened visitors.

Very quiet and lovely place for those who want to have good food.
Although it is a bit hard to find this place it worth visiting. This restaurant exists more than 15 years (which equals to a century for Moscow restaurant market). You can enjoy this place all year round. Guaranteed good food and very welcome atmosphere. Recently they installed...
The dishes came really quick, though the dessert was supposed to be a bit later when everything else was almost finished. The Georgian bread, lamp soup and stewed vegetables were very delicious. Highly recommended

"Great Food, Wine and Staff"
reviewed February 15, 2020 by Taylor S
My wife and I went there last night for Valentine's day and even though we waited late to make a reservation they accommodated us anyway. We had been there twice before. Once for dinner and another time for a wine tasting. The food is Italian and well prepared and not the usual that you get at most restaurants. They also...

"Very good steakhouse, absolutely worth a visit"

Above average price (for Moscow) but very good food.
If you are used to steakhouses in Chicago, London or New York, you will not be disappointed.
All the classical cuts are available, plenty of alternative cuts are on the menu too. Give those a shoot!
Flawless service, great food, superb desserts.
As of August 2019, I'd budget $50-$100 pp, depending...
The hotel is pretty new, located in the center, 5 minute walk from the metro station and if you are fit enough you can walk for about 20 minutes to the Red Square. Room was big, comfortable. Breakfast amazing with wide range of choices. I didn’t try the restaurant but the location was amazing so I guess the food was...
We stayed at the Arbat hotel during our second part of the journey. It is a good hotel with clean rooms, courteous staff and a good breakfast spread. Walking distance from all the fun in Arbat area. Their concierge services are on good and the hotel has an old world charm to it.
This hotel is tucked away and a little further from the main road - ref to main pic.
The hotel building is all red brick.
The lobby and corridors have seen better days and are remiscent of a past era.
As we were travelling with a group of friends, and this hotel was booked by our agent, we were pleasantly...
