This was the place to stay in St Petersburg. We were in a hotel just a short walk from Nikolskaya Street and it was the place to be. I beautiful street to walk along, plenty to see and a real feel for the centre of this magical city. There is the best cafe on this street in a sumptuous food...
There are plenty of parks in Moscow, and Kuzminki fits that bill. It's pretty large and you can wander around for a while, but when compared to other parks (i.e. Sokolniki and Gorky), it pales in comparison. When I was there, I found it to be a bit noisy and not quite as clean, but that was my only complaint-you...
Assuming you arrive by metro, it’s a 30 minute walk through a gorgeous park (especially in winter!). And then comes the letdown. This is a warehouse with piles of junk randomly dumped on shelves and floors. At least there’s no entry fee. This is not a museum. It’s a junk dump!

The evening of 13 April. To "Yakitoriya" from the metro station "Kuzminki" (the first coach from the center) we walked on the left side of Volgogradsky Avenue 5 minutes, not more. Second floor.
