It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
The Yacht Club is one of Dubai's sea activities. Our visit focused on the terrace there at night. At night it is a colored light glittered admist stalls, fast food outlets and restaurant.
The beauty here is the view of Dubai's skyscrapers at night. It gives the Las Vegas or New York feeling though I have yet to visit both places.
This was a fun way to see the city from a different angle. We got to see Atlantis, Burj Al Arab and lots of more buildings.
We took the ferry from Dubai Marina and the whole ride took about 1.5 hours.
It's a bit expensive if you consider it as a "taxi" but it's a nice way to see Dubai's...
We took the RTA water bus from the Marina over to the water canal, then connected with the water bus on the new canal. Excited to see the latest developments along the canal in Jumeirah and round to Business bay - dubai just never stops evolving and the canal is a great way to experience it!

Twas' a good experienced to celebrate special day in this place, including soothing ambience, relaxing view and very approachable staff. Thanks to Louie Pangilinan (not sure with his full name) for accomodating us all throughout the day. Cheers 🤗
Everything we ordered looked & tasted amazing. The chef sent a complimentary bite size appetizer (cucumber with water melon and feta), perhaps because at that time we were the only ones there. We spent 532 Durham (about $150) plus tip. That included 1 appetizers (quinoa salad with seared tuna), 2 entrees (salmon with risotto & skirt steak), 1 side (mash...

We had stayed a number of years ago in the hotel as well as the Residence. The hotel still looks like newly built.
There is a big secret in the hotel, namely the superb staff who went way beyond to assist each and every guest. The rooms are spotless and well looked after by housekeeping staff. Gold club is again...
We visited Dubai March 15- March 21. Due to the coronavirus, most places were closed down upon arrival. We experienced personalized customer service & are soo grateful to all the staff from GH who made us feel welcomed during this crisis. On our last day we received complimentary wine, cake & flowers for our anniversary and for my husband's birthday....

We once more visited Dubai and stayed at the One and Only Resort, in particular The Residence.
Wonderful staff surpass your every expectation. Fabulous food, resort and beach. Great for a relaxing time or more adventurous if you prefer.
So good we are booked again for September 2020.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was extremely spacious, had fantastic views over the beach. The rooms were modern, clean and very comfortable. They featured all the necessary amenities.
The hotel itself was again well located and modern, there were a variety of bars and restaurants with STK being my favourite.
The staff were friendly and accommodating I’d...
