When we went we found the temple was very busy and the stall holders outside were selling the lotus flowers and joss sticks that the worshippers were buying to take in to the temple.
Very interesting temple and well worth a visit. Next door to the lovely Hindu temple.
I always visit Catholic cathedrals on my travels so it was nice to have visited this one in a non-Catholic country. As expected, it was very small and lacks the more traditional opulent spires and ceilings and giant stained windows. Still beautiful, nonetheless. Simple and sacred.
The Church of Saints Peter and Paul is a Roman Catholic church built between 1869 and 1870. It is located in Bugis (easy access with MRT, station Bugis)
I found this church by accident and found interesting to visit.
The history of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul is closely linked with the beginning and growth of the Chinese...
Singapore is an "intentional community" ⸺ a place designed with a purpose ⸺ growing with confidence in its ability to create social and economic value. Fitting, then, that it should dedicate a National Centre to Design in a decade when the discipline has become recognised as including, but also being much more than, the craft of artisans. Across schools, workplaces...
Japanese food is great for my wife and me. Really like the food at En Sushi. The sashimi is fresh and melts well in the mouth. The soft shell crab handroll is crispy which is what i look for in soft shell crab. The beef is nice and tasty too 😊
Customer service was awesome. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Ordered 6 tiers (Atlantic tower), managed to get 1 free crab due to birthday month. Seafood are mostly fresh and juicy. Had surprise celebration by the staff there, all thanks to my friends!
Not Singaporean food, unless Singapore means burgers chips and general pub grub. No one in the place at 8pm and no real atmosphere without the music. Probably awesome with a decent band and no kids but was really disappointed with the incorrect food description. Rated ave as we really just walked in and walked out once we realised it was...

"Pretty cool little joint"

Had a group dinner here recently which was also our first time at Artichoke. Will definitely be back. It’s a bit of hidden gem in Singapore, tucked away in the city with a low key vibe, solid menu and drinks list. Great for groups out on a night in the city. Worth adding to your list.
This hotel is located in a district full of art and fashion colleges and museums and very near the station. It’s central to all areas so great for exploring the city. The rooms are simple but chic and kept clean. The staff were friendly and helpful...book direct and join the members club and if there is a room available you...
I have given this hotel a 4 rating, because it is a very good hotel overall. It is right next to Bencoolen Station, which is on the same line as the airport, so you can get there very easily. Check in is very quick, professional and helpful staff, we were in our room very quickly. There is a washing machine...
Firstly, the good points:
Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly receptionists, lovely breakfasts - buffet style, and a good place to have a meal and a drink in the evening if you've worn yourselves out in the day. Again, the staff here are extremely friendly.
The hotel is conveniently located with public transport just around the corner. It is possible to...
"3.5 stars Great Location, Average room, Staff varied"

First off I travelled during the Current Pandemic (Mar 2020) and therefore the hotel was almost empty, secondly I knew that the hotel room would be small so will restrict comments on size.
Firstly the room, very small for two people with medium size bags however once we worked out they fit under the bed it allowed extra space. The...
Great location in Singapore. Walking distance to many great food spots, like Arab Street, or a quick taxi/grab ride to China Town.
Price was heavily discounted when we stayed, and it looks like several floors were being re-furbished. It needs it.
Gym is like a closet. Pool is ok, but also needs some work.
