This is as close as you will get to the prison. You will pass the high walls on the way to the Museum where the story will unfolds. If you have Family ties to the prison you get the feeling from the stories inside. For others it is a time to reflect on the past.

I got taken to the Bark Cafe for a couple of drinks by a friend on a recent trip to Singapore and we decided to stay for a meal. I ordered the seafood hot fun which was excellent. Good sized serve, very well cooked and tasty.
It’s a great location being open air and with live music.
If you like a feel of Thailand in Singapore, this is the place to go. You also get a great view of the airport runway.
However, dinner is quite costly. 2 types of pot to choose from ufo (additional $20) and traditional. Menu doesn't tell you what you get in the mookata menu.

Staffs are not attentive - our plates are full of crab and prawn shells. Staff obviously saw it as they were bringing us more food (I see their eyes looking at our plates!!). But they jus do not want to change our plates. We had to ask them twice.
