"From Admiralty Park to Woodlands Waterfront Park"
reviewed November 7, 2019 by ah tee s
I work at Woodlands Police Division. I like to come early to my office and then strolled my way to the nearby park for an exploration. It has become my routine and I had for the past few weeks explored Marsiling Park, Woodlands East Town Park, Admiralty Park and today Woodlands Waterfront Park.
From the map, I could not find...
I have been to this park on few occasions but each time there is a guide who led the walk. This morning, I came alone. Since my posting to the nearby Woodlands Police Division, I have been on several morning exploration to the nearby Marsiling Park, Woodlands East Town Park and this morning, I decided to go for a morning...

Turns out to be a more interesting place than expected. In the area because it was near River Safari. Was always interested in old artifacts and the place did not disappoint. Learnt about the history of WW2, shoe polish and cigarettes. A good place to slot in for 1 hour. Off the path place.
I like exploration.
Since my posting to Woodlands Police Division, I had explored the various parks: Woodlands Town Park East, Marsiling Park, Admiralty Park, Woodlands Waterfront Park; took a course at Republic Polytechnic, visited the Woodlands Polyclinic, the Woodlands Regional Library, the CPF Branch Office and the North West Community Development Office at Woodlands Civic Center, ate lunch at Al-Ameen...
A very big and well designed neighbourhood mosque. We're in the neighbour for a function and just made it in time for our prayers and stayed on for the next. It's designed for the future as the neighbourhood gets built up. I like that it's well ventilated without the need of air conditioning.
I really like to have my teh si kosong here as it is well made and not too sweet. The tables are a bit small, but good enough for a nice conversation with your friends. You can also order food like Laksa and curry chicken rice to complement your drink.
- Had Yu Sheng, Dim Sum and some other dish.
- Food quality was great.
- Service was prompt, and the dish came out swiftly though the restaurant was packed.
- Like the Sweet and sour pork and the chicken/duck porridge.
- Used their membership to enjoy 10% discount.
- Paid SGD $200+ for 5 Pax.
The restaurant opens till late at night, and is always a great location for supper when you don't have anything in mind. The prata here is crispy and nice. Service might be lacking in some areas but with the price you pay, it's pretty decent.
