When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
I could have spent hours here admiring all of the beautiful birds. Such a nice place to go to get away from the busy city and listen to the sounds of many different tropical birds. Keep your eyes open, some are really hard to spot! Free!
In the middle of Central where high rises surround your low rise museums, restaurant and bars. Where you can browse the old police station and where prisoners were actually kept. A huge budget was spent to restore the whole complex to its former state. A step back to colonial times that must form part of your tourist or local HK...

Great food, keeping the special flavour of Peruvian cuisine authentic and delicious. The Roasted Chicken is a must! Ceviche and Causa are also great options to go with. The Pan con Chicharron is also always a winner👍👍👍🇵🇪 Arriba Peru! Buen Provecho!
I went there to celebrate my friend’s birthday. It’s an amazing experience. The environment and atmosphere is very chill. The staffs were very friendly. And they made vegan food into amazing dishes. Their coconut banana cake is just awesome! Will definitely go back again!
Ichu is an upscale Peruvian restaurant at the heart of Central. It is a cozy and spacious place with a nice view of the bustling streets. Service is great. Food is light and refreshing. Ceviche is fresh. Banana flan is smooth as slik. Price is great especially during Resuaurant Week.
I wish my visit had been longer so I could have enjoyed this wonderful hotel and the superb staff even longer. I only had one night here but that was enough to fall in love with the place. From the moment I walked in, I was treated warmly, like a family member with reverence. The room and view were incomparable....
