In my opinion Discoivery Bay is an upmarket tourist ghetto with little cultural attraction or heritage - and the so-called white chapel is simply a building in the grounds of the Auberge Hotel - we found our trip to Discovery Bay very disappointing in terms of real Hong Kong experience - fake and fabricated
Family didn't enjoyed in Hong Kong Disneyland. It is not good As compared to other Disneyland. Most of shows are in Mandarin, so it was not for English speaking person. We were laughing in horror place as we didn't understand the language.
Been a while since we dined in Chef Mickey.
And this weekend, we are back!!
Service was still attentive as before ..
Atmosphere, much better
Lastly, food!!! Really improved!!!
Fresh Shrimp n desserts will be my recommendations!!
Come and have a Try, if you are staying in Hollywood Hotel.
This restaurant is inside the Disney hotel and is a great start to any Disney trip. The restaurant is simply amazing the decor is pretty and the dim sum is so cute. It’s quite expensive but worth it for the experience. Make sure you book well in advance as they do not take orders for dim sum on the day.
Discovery Bay is an upscale neighborhood, and most of the residents have a fair amount of disposable income. Why, therefore, are the restaurants so mediocre? The fare in most of the restaurants is either hamburgers or pizza or both? There are a couple of ersatz Italian restaurants, which are really just substitute pizza joints. Why?
Well, never fear. Discovery Bay...
We had a wonderful birthday celebration here. All the staffs are cheerful and super friendly. Rooms are clean and well equipped with surprising arrangement including free upgrading, picnic set and lucky draw😊 always enjoy a stay in here and definitely will come again!
** was reassured and relieved, the preventive measures in the hotel are comprehensive **
The Lodge is beautiful and setting was very tranquil, elegant, luxurious and cool. This was the BEST THEME HOTEL for me, the theme was you're like in a JUNGLE mixed with LION KING/MOANA THEME. You're like an EXPLORER. This hotel is good for all and everyone who loves DISNEY. We arrive at the hotel super late na because we came...
This (big) hotel has nice and comfortable rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is ok.
In the vicinity, at walking distance (maximum 5 minutes) you will find a great bar, Mexican restaurant as well as an Indian and Italian. Starbucks is around the corner.
Easy travel to all the surrounding islands with the ferry.
For our very long trip to China that began in Hong Kong we decided to spend our first 4 nights at Disneyland Hong Kong and we chose Disney's Hollywood Hotel as our home. We were a little nervous about language barriers but things couldn't have been easier. From the airport we took a taxi and when we entered the lobby...
