If you have no obligation for other activités, waterfront is a must go place whether permitting. Many tourists will be in the area and ferries is a good option to try. It is very cheap way to spend sometime around. The view and the light of the panoramic waterfront is something you will keep in your memory for sometime. Highly...
Didn't think a private museum in HK would amount to much, so it took me a long time before I finally visited it as it was kind of out of the way (actually only about 8 min from the Nga Tau Kwok MTR station and not hard to find using Google map, maybe a few more minutes from the larger...
I often try a walking/streetfood tour when I come to a new city, or a new part of a familiar city for more than a day or two. This time I tried a cooking class.
It was a great choice. Bill was fun, funny, and thoughtfully talked about life in Hong Kong as well as food. He took us on...

My family and I had lunch in a restaurant called “Grand Ding House” (淥鼎記) locates in 8/F, One Pacific Centre, 414 Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong
There are two lion hanging at the entrance of the restaurant!!
The entire restaurant is decorated in modern Chinese style with wooden screen and bamboo woven pendant lights.
You can see the characteristics...
Add Some Thai is a hidden gem at an industrial building in Kwun Tong. Close to the MTR station, it offers a simple but refined menu. The lunch selections are great bargains. Everything is beautifully presented. Service is nice. In general this is an excellent option when in the area.
We booked here on a Friday evening & other members of our family joined us so we ended up in a private room - not sure that was the best option though as difficult to get out when needed. We paid a little extra for the free flow sake - which was a good deal. Though half full when we...
I’s Land Cafe is a secret garden hidden in the industrial buildings. Decorated with fake leaves and flowers, the layout of the restaurant is so adorable. I’s Land Cafe is always in my list of favourite restaurants in Kwan Tung!

It is the first time we tried this particular restaurant in The Wave and were pleasantly surprised. We were fairly early at 12:15 and there was still plenty of room in this rather large place. They are offering a buffet for starters and limited desert and you pick a main course from about a dozen choices.
We picked the rack...
The room was very nice and comfortable with clean, big washroom. Good service especially thanks to Rebecca. She is super friendly and warm welcom. Breakfast was delicious. Better than expected. Thanks.
It was my first time to stay in Dorsett Kwun Tong. Staffs were nice and helpful since they have shown the direction of operating restaurants in the Lunar New Year. The room was also clean and comfortable. I would stay next time.
I stayed here with a friend for 3 night pre cruise. It’s a very clean smart hotel with helpful efficient staff. There is an MRT station nearby which makes travelling around easy. It’s also near a large shopping mall which offers plenty food options. Breakfast was fine if a little repetitive and on our last day the toaster wasn’t there!...
The staff at this hotel were so friendly, nice and helpful. They really made our stay at this hotel. The room was clean and much bigger than I expected. Facilities were perfect for a city break. It is about a 20min taxi ride to the city center.
If cruising out of Hong Kong 🇭🇰 this is a great place to staying either before or after your cruise.
Pluses are great views (if room is on the harbour side), free shuttle bus from hotel to nearby shopping malls and
MTR rail stations (although this service will finish sometime in January), and plenty of nearby restaurants
Minus is beds...
