Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
We took it to JJ Market and it was easy to navigate. Only about 42 baht each way per person. It was clean but crowded. You can buy tokens from an actual person. Keep the token when you enter and return it when you leave. There are special seats reserved for monks. If you are female, don’t sit next to...
Near the Holiday Inn and Jewelry Trade Center I had often passed in a taxi but wanted to see it up close. Unfortunately you can’t take pictures inside this amazingly decorated temple. You can walk in and make an offering if you want. The detail is so colourful.
Outstanding breakfast. Although I am not a fan of buffet style food this hotel execells In service, standard of food and a good selection
Fresh juices to order are great with a splash of fresh ginger.
One of the best breakfast in any hotel
A great Thai restaurant in the Sheraton hotel...friendly staff, you can sit in- or outside and theres a show with music and dances on certain days. Friendly and attentive staff...the food is wonderful. Prices are normal for such kind of restaurant.
Had lunch on 16 August. Delayed at the airport, so emailed ahead to inform them of the delay. Reply was prompt and adjustments made without issue.
Arrived at hotel via boat, which was a nice way to start. Restaurant was nicely set up. Not too many tables and each adorned by a nice vase of fresh flowers. The view was...

"Not so good location, but the place is sooooooooo good"

The location is not close to MRT or BTS. To compensate for that they have shuttles that run you to BTS. Other times you are fine with taxis or just Grab, except peak times, when traffic can just get stuck entirely without moving for an hour.
We had a 2 bedroom suite, and it was superb!
There are 3 excellent...

My wife and I try to celebrate our anniversary at the MO Bangkok . This month we returned to celebrate our 49th. The room was lovely, but as usual, the service was truly exceptional. Mayuree, Peter,Felix, Greg and their respective staffs couldn’t have been more helpful. They were able to arrange for us to be blessed by a Buddhist monk...
Good location in the town. And the stuff is friendly, the warm greeting was given once stepping in the lobby:) The hotel is friendly to SPG members as well. The room was upgraded to the suite by SPG premium.
Having anticipated our stay at the W Bangkok for a long time and finally we were there. It didn't disappoint! Nice staff, chic design and relaxing spa. Thanks much for the sweet birthday surprises by the Team and we had a wonderful time at our Wonferful Room. We ordered Mango Sticky Rice for in room dining and it tasted pretty...
The SO SOFITEL in Bangkok is a great place to stay - unfortunately we were only there for two nights. Our corner room on the 15 floor was spacious, very well appointed and bed was SO comfortable. The view over the park was very picturesque. ( see photo)
All the staff were extremely helpful. We ate in the Red Oven...
