Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple in Bangkok (west bank of the Chao Phraya River). The Temple of the Dawn towering over the Chao Phraya River is one of Bangkok’s most visually striking landmarks and also one of Thailand’s top attractions. The temple was built in 17th century in the era of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. The temple’s name has taken...
One has to appreciate what was crafted during the Chakri Dynasty. For me, worth the price of entry as khon Farang (but some are annoyed prices for khon Thai is cheaper many places). It is a beautiful fusion of architecture styles and has the panels showing the story of the Ramakien on display. Enjoy!
This is the place that you must see in Bangkok and the buildings inside are impressive. I particularly enjoyed the Khon performance included in the ticket price (though this is now suspended due to Covid-19).
Tickets are 500 baht. Note the early closing time of 16:30, with last entry at 15:30. There is a shop to buy food and water...
We chose this restuarant on the basis of it being the best rated on trip advisor. Overall, it was a good entertaining experience watching the chef cook your food in front of you, to your specification. Food tasted great. At the top end for cost but as mentioned, its for the show as well as the taste.
My wife and I were staying at the hotel and we decided to attend the buffet/show. The food was great and fairly varied. Not a particularly Thai menu but selection was great.
The show was a nice touch that kept us entertained on our last night in town.
We can only comment on the restaurant this time however it’s a very well located one with superb views of the river with all its hustle and bustle. The food is always divine, the menu comprehensive and the experience exceptional and this occasion was no different. Superb staff are always on hand and so charming, another great night.
From the moment we got out the taxi to the moment we got back in we received the most amazing customer service from everyone we met. We were greeted from the taxi where our luggage was taken to our room, check in was fast and seamless. We were given a refreshing cold drink and cold towels. We were escorted to...
Visited Bangkok between 7th and 10th March. This was first trip to Thailand and the hotel exceeded my expectations.
The greeting was great and check-in was very speedy. The hotel itself is very clean, modern, contemporary and welcoming.
Our room was amazing and had fabulous views across Bangkok. It had everything I needed including kitchen, office space, balcony, safe, iron...
A very good and comfortable place to stay in. hotel is near to the shopping mall and nearby there are a lot of different kind of things to eat be it street food or stalls which are also very nice and recommended.
