Located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Double Bay is a one of the city's most beautiful harbor neighborhoods. Designer boutiques provide a decadent shopping experience and dress some of the most beautiful people in Sydney. Sit down at one of the open air cafes for a latte or a meal and enjoy the people-watching. Double Bay was once an exclusive enclave for an older, elite population, but new restaurants, late night bars, hotels and cafés are attracting a younger, vibrant mix, making Double Bay the place to be on the harbor.
Right next to the shops and bordering the harbour is a delightful park with an excellent kids play area. As a big family we often have summertime picnics here Fortunately not too many people know about this gem so we never have trouble parking reasonably close Kids love playing soccer and cricket here too
Local well-established gallery for over 20 years in Double Bay. Love going to the lots of events music and speakers. We went to opening of Sue Meyers exhibition of large canvasses layered with thick oil colours that draw you in. Young musicians of high standard played in courtyard while we enjoyed a glass of wine and enjoyed the ambience. Great...
Stopped in for the Gabrielle opening. Compliments on the quality of his work. Love the ariel photos and wished we could have packed one back to New York with us.
Really think that his pictures compliment the Sydney lifestyle and the surrounding area.
I was particularly impressed with the large format picture in the back of the gallery. My recommendation...

Able to walk there from our friends house and really lovely staff who spoke french.
Good choice of wine by the glass as we all wanted something different to eat.
Good sharing plates and every thing was very fresh and good in spite of them being busy.
Would return if we are ever near there again

"Good pub food in an enjoyable venue"

The Golden Sheaf backs onto Double Bay's recently upscaled shopping and restaurant on Kiaora Lane. Fortunately, it remains the Sheaf we love even as new dining options proliferate in the area. Although a pub, you don't have to feel like you are in a bar. The Sheaf offers comfortable garden and annex seating that attracts all kinds of people, young...
Was recommended to pop in to Jethro's by the local Vet HQ while our cats were being treated. Couldn't have asked for a better recommendation!
Staff were very friendly and smiling and it seemed like they really enjoyed their job too. A lot of regulars were coming in for their morning coffee and a bit of a chat.
Nice room with a comfy bed.
A little out of Sydney CBD. Approx $20 Uber ride to Sydney CBD.
Unfortunately the view across at the moment is a construction site/ building in development.
My room was freezing and despite adjusting he air con and speaking with reception who said they had fixed when I got back to my room to...
