The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
We fell upon this historical tourist attraction whilst visiting Schonbrunn Palace by accident. Vienna's largest secular Baroque Hall. The Garden Palace and the City Palace are still owned privately by the Liechtenstein princely family. Deeply rooted in Vienna's history for over 300years, the palaces are noted for their superb state of restoration, original interiors and their stunning harmony of nature,...
Although the museum is open only from Wednesday to Saturday, I got a chance to visit it on Tuesday. It was possible thanks to the Museum’s Director – Helmut Reichenauer, who was kind enough and allowed me access to the collection. The place is not very spacious, and you won’t find here any memorabilia like original musical instruments or costumes...

"Richly decorated church"
reviewed July 30, 2019 by StirlingB
This Church is I believe close to the Clock museum that my partner & I visited recently during our time in Vienna. What stood out for me was the absolutely beautifully decorated ceiling as well as the baroque style architecture around the interior of the church.
Rene, the owner and cook, was friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend! We went there two days in a row and would’ve gone more if we had stayed longer! I think me and my friends found a new friend in Rene and this is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for Vienna dogs!

"Great food and service "

This was the 1st restaurant in Vienna my wife and I ate at for dinner! The food and the service were excellent! Wild game gnocchi and wild boar ghoulash were the way to go! The pine cone snapped was an added plus after dinner! Hoping we make a second trip before leaving town!
A really great location, quiet and yet not too far to walk to town. Great reception and very nice room. The breakfast service was excellent and they also provide afternoon tea and cake. Highly recommended, we really enjoyed our visit to Vienna and we stay here again.
Great location ! Walking distance to the shopping area and many main attractions ( without being in noisy and crowded streets itself ) Great breakfast and easy access to taxi stand right outside hotel.
Good location with a about a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral area. Hotel is very near a metro stop which makes getting to the airport easy. Nice good size bright room with modern bathroom. The hotel is a traditional design. Good breakfast in a pleasant dining room. I would recommend this hotel that was good value when we visited...
Good nice hotel. Very friendly and polite staff. Good quality breakfast.
Location is just great!
Rather strange hours of check in and check out - 3 pm check in, 11am check out. We came earlier, at 12. And we were said that our room was not ready. It was ok, but, after us people came and just got their room...
Let's start with the good things - the breakfast provided was excellent and the location is great. The room we had was fine but a little outworn, you feel that this hotel has been in use as-is for a while. I felt we paid to much for what we got - the room as about 130€ and the breakfast an...
