I went here to visit the graves of the great Gustav Klimt and of Otto Wagner, who design so much of Vienna 100 (and more) years ago. There is a nice hotel biergarten nearby and please don’t miss Otto Wagner’s Hof Pavillion within walking (15 min) distance.
Food, location and people are decent, but I'm not happy because of bad quality/price, confused organization and service (2 schnitzel of 3 to our table, then other schnitzel to other tables, then again the last schnitzel to us, the steak we ordered arrived 20 minutes after the 3rd schnitzel), short menu (they actually didn't show it to me at all...

"Apfelsaft after a Walk"
reviewed December 7, 2019 by haylingseagoon
What a perfect spot for r&r after a winter walk around Schonbrunn Gardens.
A traditional, classic, Viennese, coffee house. Proper traditional, waiters, dressed in black.
Fine range of cakes and pastries. Lovely soups and snacks and heavier meals.
Worth a visit.
A fine range
I have during four days dined in three restaurants who maintain to make the best Wienerschnitzel and Tafelspitz. Then finally here. They do not claim it, they deliver. Highly professional, and not another tourist trap.

"Big portions, good selection"
reviewed 2 weeks ago by NikaH-R
It's a very big place and you're likely to get a table at any time afaik. They have a good selection on food that changes regularly and the food is quite good and the portions are big.
I am not too keen on the venue as such though. I think they could have done more with that historic location and...

"A cosy cafe in a quiet back street near Schönbrunn"
reviewed 3 weeks ago by michael p
Nook is a small cafe tucked away in a quiet backstreet about 5 minutes walk from the Hietzing entrance to Schönbrunn Park. It has more the feel of a seaside cafe in England than a typical Viennese coffee house. They make excellent coffee and it's a delightful place for any time of day: breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. The menu...
We went here for breakfast before walking in the park Schönbrun palace. There was much options to choose for breakfast, also for vegans. For example the smoothie bowl which was great. Service was good.
Had a pleasant three day stay here . Check in was fine staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was varied and decent. Rooms themselves were ok.. Sleep quality fine .. Bathrooms were large although products were sub standard ( one bottle fits all ! ) only minus was that I made a tea in the room and the cup...
The hotel location is very convenient - 10 minutes walk to the Schönbrunn, 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station (20 minutes by public transport to the center).
The hotel located in the shopping line, though we were there between Christmas and New Year, and only once have seen the shopes open.
The breakfast is for 8 euro per...
Staying in the only hotel accommodation in Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace is certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. After checking in at the Austria Trend Parkhotel Schönbrunn, I was accompanied the roughly 800 meters to the actual Palace building by a staff member. The Grand Suite and its splendid rooms were explained to me by the very friendly young employee.
I am sure...
"No AC and no proper ventilation in the room. Not good during the summer months."
reviewed July 10, 2019 by rahimialex
I was there on June 14 and 15, with my family, that week the weather temperature was very high( 91 degree) and the room was very warm. They gave us a fan but with no air, still very warm. We couldn't sleep at all. we felt that, we are being tortured. Finally ,I opened the window a little and we...
We arrived to the hotel too early to check in, but the staff was able to hold our bags so we could walk around the city. The hotel sits about 15 minutes from the Schönbrunn Zoo and Palace; if you have small kids, the zoo is a must see!
The room was clean and a crib was provided for us,...
