An older part of Vienna and has great charm. It has a village like feel and there are many beer gardens throughout the town. The schnitzel they serve here is just fabulous although you will pay a little more here for food. This is a charming place to visit and very different from the hustle and bustle of Vienna.
We visited this charming pool on our last day in Vienna. We went in the morning and took the U Bahn and Bus, it was very easy to access. The pool is not heated so I would recommend that you go on a day when it is sunny as it can be a struggle to get warm. The views are...
As it is a farm with a petting zoo, this place is ideal for families with children literally from the youngest age with no upper age limit.
We would especially recommend birthday celebration at the farm; we did it twice and we loved it. It was very well organised and children had a great time.
There is a small coffee...
I was with a chorus and we performed here. It's absolutely beautiful inside and out, wonderful acoustics. The grave if Gustav Mahler is only a 5 minute walk away, and public trans is about a 10 minute walk away. We stumbled on this Heuriger on our walk down from the Kahlberg viewpoint. We really enjoyed our time here. The Grüner Veltliner was our favorite wine. The dinner offerings were incredible. I had the pork belly with sauerkraut, potato salad and carrot salad. Our companions enjoyed the quiche. Highly recommended
This is a really warm and cozy heurigen and I loved the atmosphere. It was a little bit chilly in October so we sat inside. Even with a group of five we were seated right away.
The thing I enjoyed most was the wine, of which I had a flight. For dinner, I had prosciutto-wrapped pheasant with peppercorns and a...

"Bad experience with service"
reviewed August 20, 2019 by Maciej S
We were offered a place in the corner and staff forgot about us (not that many customers...) we had to left after 20 mins very disappointed.
Don’t recommend to foreigners there are other way more friendly places worth visiting
We selected the place with some doubt, as it looks a bit bland on the outside, but in the inside it's a hidden gem.
The format of the restaurant uses the idea of "austrian tapas", unlike traditional restaurants elsewhere nearby. It is executed in the form of small dishes and it is a perfect format : as all the dishes...
You can easily get to Grinzing on the 38 tram or 38A bus, and a heuriger is right across the street, so tour groups go there. But Obermann is up the hill about a mile away (we walked but a bus is available), so it seems more patronized by locals. We sat outside under grapevines in a garden. Ten elderly...
