If you love having a drink by the sea right on the beach (and who doesn’t?) Hornstull & Långholmen should be on top of your list. The area was recently redeveloped and now not only offers artsy bars and edgy restaurants but also a post-modern shopping mall complex for urban retail therapy. Hornstull belongs to the more established and sophisticated neighborhoods in Stockholm and is the typical place where you’ll find Swedish dads meeting for a latte during their paternal leave, or where local office workers meet up at the art cinema for a drink or a movie after work. The beaches in Hornstull and Långholmen are popular destinations for barbeques and sunbathing during the summer. Bring sunscreen.
After seeing some of the "top" attractions in the city, I had to get the hell away from everyone. This was a great place to do so. Nice views of the city when you get up on the rocks. Good spot to dip away if you're in the area.
We visited this church accidently - we didn’t know it was there! It was really pretty. There was an organist practising the organ. It was a lovely sound that filled the space. There was also a toilet free of charge. The church was very nice and clean and free to visit.
We came here just to go for a swim and were impressed by the clear swimming area and entry exit points (one could also change behind a small screen). Wish we had access to the little hut with heating too... Popular place with locals it seemed too.
Whatever you search in a park Tantolunden will have it. In part it feels like a forest, full of large trees. In another part you walk amidst people's small private gardens - with red wooden cabins and flowers. Yet other parts are open expanses of grass or sports fields. There are panoramic views to be had over the river and...

If you like schnitzel this is the place to go to. The food is mainly Central European. Large portions, you will not leave hungry. Moderate prices. A little dull location but close to parks and water. Nice interior with wooden furniture.

"Another lovely Italian meal"
reviewed August 25, 2019 by Simonr1295
We’d been eyeing this local Italian on a corner right by Zinkensdamm metro station since we arrived. Tonight we finally managed to squeeze in. Excellent prawns, delicious tuna tartare (presented with edible rose petals no less) to start, excellent pizza and pasta for main course. Service v good as usual in Stockholm. It does fill up quite early so book...
I’ve been going to this place for more than 10 years and the quality has almost always been great. They changed chef some years ago and part of the menu and I was a bit worried that it would loose quality. But then we went a coupe of time and were surprised that the quality was still there. There are...
Linje Tio, now Tjoget, is a popular, noisy bar that has somehow landed on a list of the top 50 bars in the world (a list that includes NY, London, and other very large cities.)
They make a nice negroni (with Tjoget stamped into the ice) and offer a tapas-style menu.
The bar is slightly more expensive than other options...
We used this converted prison as our base for a week in the city. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The cells are cosy for one with a very comfortable bed and nice en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is an extensive buffet with something for everyone. There is a museum in one of the corridors, but the whole place is very...
The hotel is perfekt to explore the city. It is very good located, close to an underground station and only 3 stations to the old town (Gamla Stan) and the center.
All employees were really nice and friendly and helped us wherever they could. Every room looks very individual. Ours was perfectly fine and clean. The breakfast had a wide...
It was short stay for business trip with my colleague. Hotel is clean and cozy. Rooms are looking better on the pictures, but still it was clean and comfortable. Whole hotel is eco-friendly. That is big plus! Great breakfast. Loved it here. Thank you.
