This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
There's a lot to be said for this place. I can generalise the entire experience by saying that it met with almost every concept of exceptionalism I could apply to dining.
My partner and I have been to Michelin star restaurants before and not seen such attention to detail, and through so many parts of what became a 3 hour...

I want to tell you how great a dinner and dinner experience we had. Your menu, the presentations, the wait staff and just the way we were treated will be remembered by us for years to come. Your staff even was kind enough to take us for a private tour of your kitchen. It was a very special treat. The...
I am at a loss at explaining just how fabulous our experience was. Very creative meal - loved every surprise. Taste buds were rejoicing! If we lived in Amsterdam this would be our new favorite special occasion place!
Although we had breakfast in the same rooms, the atmosphere was totally enhanced for dinner. The waiter was excellent and the pate equal to any in France. My husband had the duckling and I had steak. Unfortunately the dessert was a fabulous soufflé which we consumed in its entirety.
Who doesn’t love when bread is made in the heat of the moment? Add Halloumi, spiced beef, home made hummus to the mix & you have yourself a mouthwatering dream come true! This place is YUM!
The line out the door and around the corner speaks for itself.
We stayed in the Waldorf last week and I think this hotel is probably the best hotel in the city. From the greeting on arrival through to our departure several days later, the service was unbeatable.
As we were registering in the private room on arrival, we happened to mention in passing that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary during...
I had the pleasure of staying at the Ambassade Hotel recently for two nights. My room was cosy but lovely, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning was terrific (it was particularly hot in the city during my stay) and the room amenities were lovely - overall a lovely space to rest and relax.
My sister and I can't rate our experience highly enough. We believe The Toren would be one of the best in Amsterdam. The hotel staff were warm, welcoming and accommodating. The hotel is so luxurious and chic. The bar is great for a pre dinner cocktail or a nightcap. There is also a cigar/smoking room with a great sound track...
I stayed at this hotel with my elderly mother. The staff were so nice. Nothing was a problem. My mum had her 81st birthday while we were there. Staff members Melissa, Leanne, Victor, Dennis and the other staff went well beyond my expectations to help make her day special. The rooms were lovely.
Beds very comfortable. Breakfast great. Sebastians should...
The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to everything. The staff is very helpful. The open bar and snacks are a bonus after a long day in the city. Complimentary breakfast is excellent. This was our second time staying in this location and we definitely stay here again.
