The glass palace was built in 1887 by a French architecture. It is located at Retiro Park. The autumn colors reflect beautifully from the pond. There were some display you can see inside. Beautiful conservatory.
Excellent lessons. From knowing NOTHING about cycling I went to becoming fairly comfortable on the bicycle, cycling all the way to Vicente Calderon stadium; in under four hours of class! Very friendly teachers!
Constant Companion and I were attracted to Alconada by the TA reviews. We were staying nearby and decided to try to find it. Very good location, near metro station, very kind and helpful staff, very good breakfast, clean and comfortable room.
Metro station in 2 minutes wallk.
We will stay there next time in Madrid.
Only two good things
1: It is close to the Lagazpi Metro Station and Bus Stops
2: Miguel was very nice and spoke a little English, the lady receptionist was also nice, but the other gentleman could not speak a word of English when I entered the Hotel. The room was so so. Heat was very low. And you have...
